These pots catch crab. I did not like the lid/closure would sometimes push into the pot and make it hard to open. I had to use a knife to pry open the lid.

These things are amazing and actually out fish my other bigger styles. My skiff is relatively small but the way these fold closed gives me a lot of options for storage. My husband and I came upon these by chance, decided to try them, and bam, we are totally sold! Great product, amazing price! Buy one and you will not be disappointed!

More like 28.25" not 30" That's a big percentage difference and why they can offer at a discount over the Lander 30" crab pot they copied.. Quality control is poor much like all their products and I will update this review after a week of crabbing the San Juan Islands next week.

This trap is a good value. it has a threaded rod in it in order to add weight, which it definitely needs.Good idea.

High quality all stainless steel crab pots! I purchased 4 with screw on zinc anode. I also added 4.5 pounds of additional zinc weight to bring them to a total weight if 15 pounds. I fish in 200 ft so extra weight required to keep them on the bottom. The welds, wire knitting, hinges, tunnels, tie down, escape holes and gates are commercial grade. These pots last far longer than the ultra cheap square Danielson’s. I fished those squares for years and they do work no question. It’s just once the plastic coated wire is exposed the pots will rust and become hot. They don’t last that long at all. These stainless steel pots have a much better life expectancy. I prefer round pots over square pots hands down. My counts have been higher with round pots. I would suggest using a commercial bridal knot rather then the 4 point quick connect harness. Bridal knots are what commercial crabbers use and it works far better as the pot comes up through the water much better. I attached a picture of the bridal knot I tie on to these stainless steel pots. All in all these are great pots at an awesome price. They fish well and will last a long time.
