I installed these in the room where I do my sculpting and painting. Prior to purchasing these, I would use masking tape to hold prin ted design ideas to the wall. It didn't look good and I'm sure that the tape would eventually damage the paint on the wall.Installation of the panels was easy. I just took my time to make sure the first one was in the right position and level. From there, it is simple to make sure the edge of the next panel is snug against the previous one and level.The panels are a good thickness. The provided push pins hold firmly and it all certainly looks better than my taped up printouts.So why only 4 stars? Quality control is not what it should be. The photo shows where they failed to make one of the squares in the pattern. It is noticeable and wouldn't be acceptable if this were not a work area.

These are marketed as acoustic tiles, but I actually needed a large surface for a pinboard. They were super easy to install, and the double-sided tape stuck really well to both the wall and the tiles. Even when I decided to replace a few of them, the tape still stuck to the wall after the second application. I’ve had these on my walls for about six months now, and they’ve been a breeze. They haven’t fallen off or slipped, and I’m really happy with them.

I liked the black cork look which is the main reason I selected these bulletin board tiles. They came wrapped in plastic so they were delivered in good shape. The size is good and because there are 12 in the pack I could create two sites in my office for message boards. I use one as a mood board when I am designing.One feature that was a surprise is how they also have the functionality as a sound dampening surface, not only as a bulletin board! This makes sense because there is felt on one side and cork on the other.Because included in the set are adhesive tabs it's easy to install these tiles to the wall, but I decided to place them on the glass walls of my office. There are also a few boxes of push pins. One box holds colored pins and one holds clear push pins.I can offer a 5-star review without reservations. Now that i have them up they look great. Right now they are on sale for about $14 for the pack, which is a great value.

I used these felt tiles to build a custom bulletin board next to my desk, and I’m impressed with how clean it looks. The adhesive tabs are strong and didn’t damage my wall when I repositioned a couple. It’s much lighter and safer than traditional cork boards, and the pins hold surprisingly well. Great value for the size and flexibility!

This set of large felt wall tiles is an excellent alternative to regular cork boards. I did not want to put holes in my dry wall, so I found these tiles as an alternative solution. The tiles are practical because I don't have to damage my walls to install them, and it's even more attractive than a cork board. It's also offers noise reduction in my office as a bonus!!
