In the product description, it did not say if it works on S5 or not. I tried it and it works perfectly on my Roborock S5 so far.

This part saved me from buying a new vacuum. It was giving error 1 code but the laser was still spinning. This did the job!

I initially contacted Roborock and provided them several things and they told me to replace this part. I end up buying it from this seller. The part arrived today, installed it and my Roborock S5 is working as normal. I hope this part will last a long time.

I wasn't sure, and either was the manufacture that this was the cause of the fault but rather than spend a small fortune on the complete laser part, which is what they suggested, I went with this motor first and it solved the problem. From what I can tell, seems to be pretty common as well.

The product arrived quickly and allowed me to successfully fix my Roborock s5 with an LDS error. Far cheaper than replacing the entire LDS.Note that my motor arrived with the orange wheel piece in the wrong position, however by pulling it was possible to slide it to the correct position as pictured.

Purchased this because my Roborock vacuum was not functioning.After researching I found that you can easily replace the motor which is what I did in purchasing this item. It was very easy to replace and my vacuum is back to working like a charm.
