Fuses blow because heat is generated during current draw and the internal link melts. I haven't had the pleasure of needing to replace one of these yet, but I presume that they will hold 35 Amps and blow at a current value within 5% above the rated amperage. These are difficult to find in Auto Stores and they are needed for the Lippert 4 point Auto Level system on RV's. You don't need an extra fuse until you do!
