I have a smaller back porch, so my smoker has to sit in the yard. This is compact enough that it sits on my porch, and it is very convenient when I only need to cook a small amount for me and my wife. Or if I am cooking a bigger meal, using both sides at the same time makes things even easier, and less dishes.My first meal was a longer cook. I had to add charcoal as I go. The grill holds heat well and I had no issues with peeling paint. It was easy to put together, but the instructions aren't great. I do recommend.
