I bought these hoping they'd be a hot weather alternative to my HWK armored pants made of a more synthetic/nylon material. The areas of black mesh on these Moto Pants looked intriguing from a ventilation perspective. Although they look much cooler aesthetically, they don't seem to be much cooler temperature-wise, maybe slightly. If the temperature climbs over 80 with humidity, you're going to sweat. The main problem I have with these armored biker pants though, is the discomfort of the knee shields. They're so uncomfortable that, at the beginning of each ride, I pull the knee shields up onto my lower thighs, probably rendering them useless in the unlikely but possible event of a slide. This awkward pulling-up maneuver takes place at every stop sign or red light, greatly diminishing the joy of the ride. I would imagine that a possible answer to this problem would be a hinged knee pad with stretchy fabric surrounding it? The price seems pretty good though.

I go through work pants pretty easily. It only takes a month or 2 for them to rip in the crotch. These not only provide good protecting, but they last much longer than your average work pants too.

I have pretty big thighs and these fit pretty okay. They are comfy to ride in. The hip pads could use some work on placement and sewing but i would buy these again if ever need to!Update: had a minor accident and these babies kept me intact 10/10

the size fits, but it is not possible to drive with protection, the pants are inflated and rise a lot, no matter what, it is very unpleasant to tuck them into shoes on the road

Pros:It comes with knee and hip guards which is a big plus.Cons:The fabric is NOT durable. while the pads will help if you go down, any sliding will tear the fabic itself easily.Im a 32x30 and bought a medium. It fits quite snug so keep that in mind when you buy it.Overall:If youre on a budget, its better alternative to just riding in jeans. the pads will help your confidence/sense of safety a bit but ultimately I recommend you still save up and buy a proper pair of riding pants.

Very good ventilation especially for summer riding. Comfort is good. How safe/durable is it in a slide remains to be seen, and I don't intend to find out.

Thought I’d give these a try after some unsuccessful online pants ordering. I generally just wear jeans but wanted to try something more geared towards riding. These pants feel well made with a nice weight and soft material. Unlike my jeans which tend to get bound up from putting my legs up and down on the pegs, these really stay put and have a nice stretch to them which help with that. The venting is nice as it gets a little hot and humid in NJ during the summer. I could feel a nice breeze through the legs and thigh/crotch area during my ride. Knee pads stay on my knees whether I’m riding or standing. Hip pads are in the general hip area and stay put.I’m 6’ 180lbs. I generally wear a 33x32 in jeans. Sometimes a 34 waist depending on the jeans. I read they run a little big so I ordered the large/32. The 32’s were much tighter in the leg, much like skinny jeans. The waist was comfortable but a little tight in the thighs and it felt like I was really stretching the material while straddling the bike. Tucking in a shirt and adding the hip pads would have been too tight. I decided to return them and get the XL/34. These fit a lot better with a little more room in the legs, they weren’t stretching too much around the tank, and the hip pads fit much better. All in I’d say the large is in the 33-33.5 range and XL is in the 34-34.5 range. Length is long enough to cover the tops of my ankle boots (Alpinestars Blacktops) whether standing or sitting on the bike (Kawasaki Versys).I can’t say how they’d hold up on a slide, but they feel a little thicker than regular jeans and the padding gives me some peace of mind. Would definitely pick these in the summer with the venting which really makes a difference. Overall very happy with these.

First off, i am not a fan of "skinny jeans" but these pants are light and comfortably stretchy..Perfect for summer rides and the mesh between the thighs (OMG) really helps cool the boys off.. i am a medium and they fit great (a lil baggy but,,) i like'em. Know your size and you should be fine. The pads offer a peace of mind that is priceless.. Considering buying another pair.Con: people cant see the pads, so they think youre just wearing skinny jeans :(
