I don't use these gloves every day, but when I have thistle or roses to clear or prune, these make the job much easier. The heavy cowhide offers hand protection from the thistles and thorns, and the long cuffs keep my forearms scratch-free. I'm excited to see how they do after a season of wear.

I love the color of these gloves the neutral, white and beige is great. The extra arm protection with the length of these gloves is what I needed for pulling yucky weeds in the yard. The price is on point and the gloves are very comfortable to wear.

These are really nice. I like that they go up my arms rather than just my hands. They keep the dirt from getting into the gloves when I'm digging and potting my plants. They keep my hands clean, and they're perfect for me and my gardening. I'm really happy with this. It's nice and sturdy, and I'm able to grab some thorny weeds and pull them up.

Overall a good set of long gardening gloves. The sizing is "standard", I normally use large size on gloves and they fit good, comfortable. Most finger lengths are good, only the pinky was a bit longer, but people have different hand shapes. I use them for trimming and working around some hedges which have pointy leaves and they work great to protect my hands, no more scratches. The hand portion of the glove is a bit harder, but being made of leather they will only get softer and better. The one thing that works not very consistent is the touchscreen functionality. The finger position needs to be at a specific angle to make it work. Also because the gloves are thick, the tip of the finger does not conform well to the screen.

These are excellent. I've tried every long-cuff glove out there -- because I'm brutal on them, and go through a new pair every couple of months -- and these measure up as some of the best. I was worried that the touch-screen capability (which works, by the way) would make the index finger less sturdy -- that's where I usually get holes -- but surprisingly, that's not the case. These are heavy-duty and reinforced. I did my best to pierce them with rose thorns, but the thorns would break, rather than pierce the glove. In terms of sizing, the size chart is accurate. My palm is 3.25" wide and my middle finger is 3" long, and the Medium fit perfectly, since I like them to be roomy so I can take them on and off easily. In other words, the Medium would still work fine if your hands were a bit larger than mine, just like the size chart says. One thing to note is that these don't have a cuff cinch, like some long-cuff gloves do. Personally, I hate those cuff cinches, since they're always getting caught on things and I've never found any need for them. However, if that's something you like, these don't have one (even though the product photos show them hanging, as if by a cinch).

.. .fellow gardeners were amazed that a young man was 'into' gardening, as I was. I was working in retail management, but my roots were still on the farm I was born on, and I was growing petunias in coffee cans! And two retired sisters who had a wonderful garden that I admired when walking, gave me some plants. One of them was a plant from South America that was used as natural fencing for cattle because it was not edible and had incredible thorns. "Don't plant it near your house," they warned. "It travels underground and puts up new pups all over. It can be 4 feet tall and round. It is a Bromelia Balansae and flushes red before its large orb like bloom comes up. It is an amazingly beautiful bloom, and is an amazingly prolific plant. To control it, you have to dig up the pups and cut off the underground sprouts. Then carefully place the small ( bigger than a basketball) plants in a trash can, not a bag, their thorns will shed a bag. And thats what these gloves will be used for. They are wonderful Gloves!
