I believe these run a smidge big, but i make them work. Got them on sale for less than $10, they have been great for this crappy winter weather this year. I wear thermals underneath and slow roast in the cold😁

Overall happy with them as they were a last minute rushed purchase. Very sturdy and warm (though not waterproof if your kids like to just sit in the snow and bury themselves in it). But heed the warnings - they run SO big! It was fine as we just rolled up the legs and stuffed them into a boot, but definitely size down!

Great little ski pants for the kids! Adjustable!! My kids are shorter for age 8 with skinny waists but these fit perfectly. They wear a size small (6-8 depending on brand).

You get your money's worth if you buy this pants. The fabric material is of great value. It's warm to wear over your winter leggings.Only Cons is I ordered a large. The legs were sewed wide and the waist a bit snug. Size up

As other reviews have stated the pants run really big especially in the waist. They fit my son in length, but the waist was way too big. The adjustable tabs on the side are really worthless as the velcro lines up only at the largest size. When you pull the tabs to tighten them around the waist there is no velcro to attach them to. The quality of the pants seems good otherwise. I ended up returning them because of the poor fit. It was my first ever return with Amazon in 18 years and I was impressed with how easy and quick the return process was.

I really enjoy these pants. Yes, they're on the cheaper side (Really? $30 for a pair of snow pants? When do you ever find this?), but I think they're pretty darn amazing for the price you're paying. That's not to say I really own enough snow clothes to make such a comparative judgment, but this is coming from someone who did snowboard with them in 20 F weather with only a pair of regular leggings underneath. And I wasn't cold, nor did I experience any discomfort of any snow in my pants.I think they fit extremely well, though the trek for the correct size was pretty difficult. I had originally purchased a Youth Large because judging from the size chart, I really am a 14-16 in girls' pants (I'm 5'2 and weigh about 105 lbs. I generally wear a 0-1 in teen clothes and generally do not fit women's clothing). But when I received it, the waist was 6 inches too large. Six whole inches? So I ordered a Youth Small, which wound up fitting quite literally perfectly, meaning I wouldn't be able to layer anything underneath. The length was a little shorter (more like what I'd wear for regular pants, not like what should layer over snow boots). I wound up (unfortunately) paying for one-day shipping for the Youth Medium after my dissatisfaction with the previous two sizes, and lo and behold, it fit like a charm. I have about 1-2 inches of slack around the waist for layering, but the waist IS adjustable, so that isn't too big of a deal. I do agree that the adjustable bands could be better designed, but they do their job, and despite the number of times I had fallen, the adjustment hadn't loosened despite being held only by velcro.I'm not too impressed by the reinforced knees or bum. I don't believe it made too much of a difference. I do feel more padding and reinforcement there (quite literally, there's just more product), but at the end of the day, it won't save you if you fall on a patch of ice. However, they are nice and lightweight, and I really appreciate that. I never felt restricted in movement or slowed down while snowboarding.

I'm not a junior but often shop in the junior section. And thought I'd have more luck with junior snow pants too. I'm 5'1" and 109lbs. After reading reviews I decided to order the Medium size. I got them and the fit was perfect - like how you'd want your jeans to fit. They were a little tight in the hips and if I unzipped the pockets they were perfect. The length hit right at the top of my foot and the quality of the pants looks great. But because I wasn't sure I'd be comfortable in these when I layered, I tried the next size up, a large. The large was WAY too big. It's like it jumped a size. The large drowns me and the medium fit kind of like a glove. I decided to keep the medium because the price was good, the quality was great and they looked really flattering for snow pants. But I'll probably only be able to wear yoga pants or thermals underneath -for sure not jeans.
