It was too soft and too small, and couldn't fill the gap between the seat and the backrest.

The lumbar support pillow works really well to give lower back support in the car. I thought it might be a little bit bigger when I ordered it, and thought that it could be used in other situations/seating arrangements besides the car, but quickly realized that the design made it the most effective when used in the car. While I would not recommend this just to sit at a hard-backed kitchen table during a study session, since one likely would not get much support from it while sitting in a chair, it's perfect if used correctly (in either the driver or passenger seat). There is a piece of leather that comes out from the back of the pillow that can be pushed into the seat crevice to hold it in place and keep it from moving- another indicator that it really is for the car. Even those using it in the car might be a little off-put, at first, since the first coffee break with the pillow may give the impression that it's too small to be supportive- but this is not the case. It's made to fit in the nook where the backrest and bottom part of the seat join, effectively cushioning the area, and thus providing a lot of lower back support. It's very comfortable when used this way, and since I often spend my nights doing homework in my car (being the night owl that I am) it's a great comfort addition. I would definitely recommend it for anyone with lower back pain that spends a lot of time in their car!

First of all, this neck pillow is well made. Stitching of the faux leather is good. It features a rather wide elastic band with a buckle to attach it properly to the head rest area of the car.To make this neck pillow work for me (m, 6' 1"), I have to strap it around the very top of the headrest in my 2003 Camry and then let it hand down as pictured. The design of this neck pillow wouldn't allow it for me to strap it around tighter and lower on the actual headrest as it would then stick out too far. These butterfly-shapedeck pillows would allow doing this. For me to wrap it around the metal poles of the headrest would require the backrest of my car to be higher. While this type of neck pillow is not optimal for me personally (tall guy in a 2003 Camry), I can totally that it works better for shorter people or vehicles with larger seats. It is not the product's fault here, I just wanted to make potential customers aware of possible issues.I still think the product itself is good.
