This charger lasted 5 1/2 years with almost daily use. I travel regularly and it has still performed well. I would definitely buy it again. Cord length is a plus too.

It solved the problem of not having a charger for my computer. Nicky will still try to chew the cord but this time I will not let him! This one is less expensive than official Apple cord and works just as well so far (approximately 26 minutes). Nicky has to pay for it out of his allowance, so cost was a big concern to both of us, he can't make very much money because he is a cat and doesn't have a job, and he will not do any chores to help out. I love him so much. Thanks for the great cord, now I can go online and surf the net again, looking at websites, sending e-mails, using Microsoft Word. All the things I love that I thought I lost forever. Today is a new beginning for me and my cat Nicky who chewed on the old cord I had before. everything is changing

After years of faithful usage the rubber, or plastic coating on my original MacBook Air charger was literally falling apart. Time for a brief going away cermony, I placed it in a closet just in case of emergency.Looked around and saw this one had some pretty good reviews. Given the price difference (like three times) between this and the Apple charger I was a little skeptical.Got it quickly and with slight trepidation (thought it could fry my computer) I plugged it in and ,voila, the little orange light came on, just like my Apple! Been using it almost every day for about 3 weeks now. so I'm comfortable sayng its reliable. Dont know about long term durability yet but if it last a couple of years I figure i'm ahead of the game.So before plupping down $70+ for a large bulky Apple charger give this 'Bad Boy' a try.Oh, forgot to mention that it like half the size of the Apple. Super compact for travel with a pretty generous cord, like 6 ft.

My Mac air charger broke after 6 years (the cord frayed) so I was in the market for a new charger. I was pretty disappointed that I would have to pay $60+ for a charger for my old mac, especially since the new Mac's have a different charger so if I ever upgrade the charger would be pointless. Anyway I figured I would Amazon Mac charger and low and behold this incredible charger popped up. It had so many reviews and such a great score that I felt like I trusted the product. I got the charger and it is awesome. It works the same as my Mac charger. I dont know why anyone would ever spend over $60 for a name brand CHARGER when they can pay $20 for a perfectly good charger that does the same job! Don't waste your money!

I am the type that always has to replace my laptop charger every few months from it breaking. Part of the reason is that I can be a little reckless (I sat on the last one and broke it :( ) but mainly because I was having a hard time finding a replacement charger that could last and was cheaper than the apple brand charger. I've went through about 3-4 chargers in the 4 years I've had this laptop, and this one is by far the closest to the OG apple charger. the material of the cord is heavy and matte, but bendable and sturdy. you can remove the prongs to attach the thinker cord extension. it also came in a cute small box with not too much plastic packaging. I would 100% recommend this product for those like me who just need a sturdy charger but do not want to pay full price. I love it!!

it was nice to have a new, crisp charger to replace my old one with wires sticking out that took ten minutes to get it in a position to charge. it is working well and the prongs fit into the outlet perfectly, doesnt fall out. a few things - the prongs are a little shorter than the base so it’s a bit tough to get the prongs out, especially with long nails (or, very short fingernails!!). it’s not a huge deal though. it did take me a minute to get the charger in a position to charge. i figured it out but it did take a bit of time. but since i got it, it’s charging well. gone up about 5% in 10 minutes! definitely not a purchase i regret.

So far, this charger appears to look feel and work almost identical to the Apple model. I know many people complain about it heating up. All macbook chargers, including the Apple brand warm up some while charging. This one does as well and maybe it may get slightly warmer than the Apple brand, but not to the extent some of these other reviewers say. Once the device is fully charged and the green light comes on, it cools down. Also, if it's plugged in to the outlet but not hooked to the computer, it stays cool; it only gets a little warm when charging --not enough to concern me. I will update this review if I have problems down the line, but so far this is a much better alternative than paying what you pay for an apple charger.
