First, my disclosure… After a severe injury to my foot and ankle over 20 years ago requiring two surgeries, I’ve had to become quite picky about footwear. I knew when these shoes were advertised on Amazon as “walking shoes” that they would have a wider than typical toe box. And these shoes certainly do, so much that initially I thought these shoes were a bit too large. I realize now that when fully laced up, the length is about right and the toe box is VERY spacious, both in height and width! In addition to a past injury, my feet are also very flat, so I probably have to lace them tighter than most others do. These shoes have arch support built into the insoles, but also include two cushions to enhance the arch support if needed. A feature which attracted me to these are the rocker bottoms. See how both the heel and the toe portion are angled upward? These should require less effort for forward propulsion than shoes that are flat from heel to toe. Wearing custom orthotics? No worries, the insole easily slips out. My feet are so flat that I’ll be removing the insole and will replace it with one having less arch support. I also find this sole to be quite firm, so will be replacing the insole with one with more cushioning, and lower arch. The sole on these is quite thick, certainly higher than standard shoes, with limited flex. Rather than bending at the toes while walking, the rocker bottom rolls forward. These shoes would be great for others with foot issues including hammer toes, diabetes and other issues. And they are also more than adequate for just walking. Well made, these should last quite a while and can accommodate a wide variety of foot issues.Because this sole is quite stiff and less cushioning, four stars.I hope you found this review to be helpful. Thanks for reading!!

I have severe bone spurs in both feet and trying to find any shoe that doesn't hurt my feet is a real struggle. The only tennis shoe that I have found so far that doesn't hurt my feet for walking is Hoka but gosh that price point so when I saw these I thought for the price I would give them a try.I am beyond surprised on what a great shoes this is! I thought they were around $100 and then when I checked again at $55 I mean what? Great value for money! The design of the shoe is really good and takes the pressure off my heel while I walk. The insoles come easily out of the shoes so if you don't need all the support or want to replace or wash is very easily done. I love the wedge sole of the shoe and it's very comfortable to walk in. I would say the shoe is for a mid to wide foot and that's great for anyone with foot issues you need the shoe to not squeeze you. I don't have wide feet but because of all my issues I like a roomy shoe. The top of the shoe is light weight and breathable and keeps my feet from overheating especially if I am wearing them and doing a lot of walking and a breathable shoe is a must because I don't want my feet to swell. One thing to note I feel the shoes run small. I wear a 10 and ordered a 10.5 to give myself some room and they fit perfectly I wish I had ordered an 11 because I don't like my toes too close to the front of the shoe.

Runs a little big on size. I wear a 6.5 and this feels a size too big. Otherwise, it is a pretty comfortable shoe. Thick sole so good for long periods on concrete.

I'm usually hesitant to get shoes before trying them on and taking them for a test drive, but these are far from disappointing. The latter, they're great! I gave these a long test run straight out of the box. Running around doing errands all day with my 2 babies, cooking, house work, unpacking me house I just moved into. I got my steps in! These are cloud like when walking and give you that slight boost of height. It's a simple shoe that provides arch support (I HAVE VERY HIGH ARCHES) and at the end of the day after wearing these, I had no pain or even thought of my feet. I'm still unsure of how they'll hold up over time, but so far its promising.

I had plantar fasciitis last year, which has gotten better for the most part, but I try to wear orthopedic shoes whenever I can to protect my heels. I already have another more expensive pair but decided to try this pair because I prefer the color and look. They are pretty comfortable, but not super cushiony on the inside. They do provide good arch support and I didn't have any heel pain after wearing them all day to run errands. I had some extra cushioned inserts that I put inside these shoes to make the inside more comfortable. After wearing other kinds of orthopedic shoes, I feel that these are decent quality for the price. Not great, but worth a try.The pair I received had a stain on one of the shoes, mostly on the shoelace. It looked like makeup or something. I tried to scrub it out with stain remover but it didn't come out completely. That's disappointing and leads me to believe that I did not receive a new pair.
