This is a very handy little straw organizer. I wanted my 4 year old twins to be able to get their own straws without ransacking my silverware drawer. This has a large and strong enough magnetic backing to stand up to their enthusiasm for grabbing straws.However, we have some shorter straws that are just too short for this organizer and they're a pain to remove from it. It's also best suited for a normal straw, not the crazy shaped straws that little kids love or for thicker milkshake straws. Honestly, if this was about 10% shorter and 30% wider per opening I'd be raving about how indispensable it is. So if you have normally shaped tall straws, this is a definite Yes.I also really appreciated that it came with adhesive and with mounting hardware if you find the magnet to not be workable for you.

WOW, this thing has a really strong magnet. I cant believe how quickly it adhered to the side of the refrigerator and it is not going anywhere. It is not going to do a slide down to the bottom of the refrigerator. It will stay where you put it with the magnet. It also comes with adhesive strips and screws in case you would like to mount it rather than attach it to a magnetic place. It holds a lot of straws. I had mine in a glass on the counter. This is so much neater and out of sight leaving my counter top free. You could also store other thing in it but know that the compartments are on the small side after all it was designed to hold straws. If you have a need for this I highly recommend.

This straw holder is selling itself short. Sure, it holds straws (I have it on the side of my fridge so I can easily access my supply), but it could also be used to hold large utensils, like wooden spoons and the like. The unit itself is made of acrylic and has a fairly narrow depth, so it fits nicely on the fridge and could even fit inside the right cabinet or pantry door without being in the way. Beyond that, the length and width are fairly large, and it holds a lot of straws. Truth be told, it holds more straws than I need it to as I am the only one in the house that uses them, but that's not a complaint. The magnet is huge (fits the entire back of the unit) and very strong. There are three ways to mount this holder, including the attached magnet, double-sided adhesive tape, and screws, all of which are included with the holder. I didn't even know I needed a straw holder until I saw this one. Very convenient.

Massive magnet, not just a tiny strip or dot of magnet. The large magnet makes it so that the straw holder stays in place when the fridge door is opened and closed. It doesn't slide down or fall off. The corner was cracked during shipping, but not noticeable when hanging.
