Much cheaper than buying spools it could last for years depending on use. String is thick and well built. Can be used on multiple machines not necessarily makita only.

So many lines to choose from, bought this Makita, based on reviews and reputation of other products. Feeds and trims, very well, in my Huskvarna battery-powered trimmer.

Believe it or not, this is indeed Makita trimmer line. If you are looking for this, you probably need it and don't need a review to explain it further. Do you have to have this brand? Probably not - but it's good quality, I like the green color, and I like making sure I'm using what Makita intended for my tools.

The package we received is marked made in USA, and I appreciate that. I imagine that Makita is probably putting their name on production from a supplier, which is a normal thing to do. We are using this in a Makita 18v trimmer and it works great. Cuts well and is very durable. Not the absolute best trimmer line anywhere, but a very competent performer at a reasonable cost.

String works great and easy install into my Makita trimmer. I thought the price was a bit high but, the string ended up being much more durable than I imagined. I'll probably have this roll for years to come! For for the use I'll be getting out of the roll, it's very, very good value. My yard takes me about two full batteries to complete trimming. Maybe a little more...
