The item I received had been obviously used (and I was not under the impression that I was ordering a used or previously-owned item) and was missing the two small daubers. The stencils are still usable of course but the two small daubers were the things I most wanted from the set, the stencils and stamps were just a bonus.

Great set! Ordered this to create table numbers for a wedding and this kit will definitely help me complete that project! The stamps are great quality and the variety of brushes and tools is so nice! So many options and so many possibilities. The stencils are made of a nice quality material - flexible yet sturdy and well made. Overall I’m excited to have and use this kit. It’s a nice little craft set. :)

This set is so nice. I plan on personalizing some planter pots outside and these stencils and little sponges should work great.

I have done a fair amount of crafting. I would not say I am an expert with stencils, but I've used them for several projects. I like that this set gives you everything you need except for paint, and I love the artistic botanical designs.Stencils: The stencils have a lot of details with many very small shapes and delicate veins in leaves. I used a stencil first on paper without removing the backer (so with no adhesive). I used one of the brushes and one of the daubers to apply acrylic paint. Results were pretty good (photo with red flowers). Then I tried a different stencil using the adhesive feature on a glass jar. The adhesive stuck on fairly well. I used a brush and too much paint, so the result was smudged but still pretty. I tried again on a flat plastic surface (black notebook cover) and used the foam pouncers with much less paint and got much better results.Stamps: The stamps are firm and good quality. I used a dauber to apply paint and got good results. Using the stamp with one of my ink pads worked well.Tools: The tool quality is good. The brushes are not "fine artist" quality, but plenty good enough for this use. The plastic handles are comfortable. Foam on the daubers and pouncers is smooth and I was able to clean them easily by doing it right after use.Storage paper: You will need a place to store your sticky stencils after removing the backer. The thick shiny paper is provided, it's nice that they included this.Overall, the quality of the components is good. The price is very fair for what you get. The stencil designs are very detailed and require a more experienced hand than mine (and way more patience than I usually have) to get sharp results. I'll be using the stamps more than the stencils, and will embrace the distressed quality of the images. My main issue is that the listing states that the foam stamps provide "stunning, detailed impressions effortlessly" and the stencil results "come out crisp and precise every time." That's just not true. Minus one star for this blatant misrepresentation.

Everything needed to stencil nearly anything or anywhere in my house is included, as well as stamps! I had been into stenciling years ago but had never purchased a kit like this with all the items necessary for a clean print. The price was very modest for this quality.
