It is very easy to use. It heats up very quickly. It didn’t take long to press out the Krumkake at all.

Works just as well as my grandmothers old iron!

I was desperate for a krumkake iron that would do a good job. The bonus that this made 2 at a time was a blessing as I had a lot to do. I love the ease of use. There is no fussing over temperature. Just plug in and warm up. Once hot the cookie making can commence. It is nice that the maker comes with a little recipe book. The recipe book lacks with some steps in the instructions. Fortunately, I bake enough that I could easy figure out what needed to be done.

Don’t buy this iron — it’s terrible. It squishes them way too much, so the outside is burned and the inner circle is pale/raw. The light doesn’t work at all, you have to time it yourself using trial and error. I’m going to throw it away and find the brand my mom has.

Comes with recipes. I recommend you find other recipes. The Iron works great we had to alter the recipes in order to get the correct consistency for the cookies

We recently changed our stove from gas to electric. At the holidays, I realized my gas top krumkake maker wouldn't work so I got this electric version. I like this better! I can make two cookies at once which is a big help in moving the process along. Making one cookie at a time (gas burner maker) takes FOREVER. There also isn't the mess because with the electric style, both top and bottom are hot. With the gas heated model, you have to flip the pan to heat the other side and many times some butter leaks out making a mess into the stove grate and burner. Mess to clean up. The electric option made clean up easy. The only thing, if you are going to roll the cookie while it's still hot you need a roller which this doesn't include. I couldn't find my original one from the last holiday making time so I bought the O'Cream Pizzelle Roller which worked great. I realized after making a batch I needed a second roller because of two cookies being ready at a time. I made a second batch with two rollers and it was great! There is a little metal latch on the handle to keep the electric maker closed tight during cooking. The cookies turned out better and cook faster if you use that since there is no heat setting, just on and off. I practiced both which is how I ended up with many different shades of crisp with my cookies. Still getting the hang of it!O'Creme Pizzelle Roller/Krumkake... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074CGSTBL?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I had bought this because it said that you could make waffle cones with it, but they come out far too small and delicate to use for ice cream cones. I returned it and bought an actual waffle cone maker

Got this to use with my grandchildren. While it works, it's not the best quality. Heats very unevenly, takes a long time to reheat
