Item came well packaged. I have a 2022 Ram lifted 6" and this took about an hour to install. Saw off pipe on outlet side of old muffler as provided instructions state. Unbolt hanger above muffler, and finally unbolt ( in my case, drill out old bolts) from front facing pipe. Save old gasket and reassemble in same order. I also bought quality grade 8 bolts, washers, and nuts so they don't rust out again. All in all, good sound and easy fix for my rusted out bolts.

Sounds awesome. How it should have sounded from the factory. 1 hour install. 45 minutes of that was fighting the rubber hangers. Was worried it would be too loud and drone. It’s perfect. At idle not really louder, just deeper.

Glad I went with the one with the small flow throw muffler vs just a pipe. Worth the extra $. Perfect sound level. Not much drone on the highway. Every time I start the truck I smile.

No need to Jack vehicle, Simple install. Sawzall behind weld on muffler, remove 2 bolts from flange toward front of truck, don’t damage the gasket, you’ll reuse this. Use hanger removal tool, drop front first, lay under muffler, remove the 2 hangers holding the back. Install the new system and enjoy the deep rumble. Quiet while at speed, she barks when you get on it! Fit was perfect, outstanding value for the price.

Was a little reluctant to order this off Amazon but now that I did I am super satisfied. Originally the order said it would arrive in 6 days. It came on the 4th day. I had this sucker installed in less than an hour. It sounds fan-freaking-tastic. Not crazy loud but just a really awesome deep growl. 100% would recommend

It installs really easily. 2 Jack stands and a floor Jack and it took about 2 hours at a moderate pace. The sound is pretty ok. With the new Ram it does create a bit of a drone. If I were to go back and do it again, I’d probably go Magnaflow. I’m not entirely happy with it. Much better than stock, I’m more likely rate it 3.5.

I ordered this thinking I wanted to hear the V8 sound of the HEMI - Install was pretty straightforward and easy enough to do. The sound is pretty good, far better than stock and when you get on it the sound comes to life. The product does exactly what they claim, MBRP has a quality product. The downside - the cabin rumble is simply way too much for me. Maybe I got old, the young me would have loved it but the old me just appreciates a quiet ride in the cabin. The MDS or whatever it is, when it kicks in you can hear a bit of drone, nothing bad but just be aware.I ordered a coupler to put the stock exhaust back on. I'm going to give it a week and see if it grows on me, but I can't drive my family on long road trips with that rumble in the cabin. Nope - want my country tunes rolling at a reasonable volume while the kids snooze in back. This is in no way a dig on MBRP - their product is good. I'm just older than I think I am and sometimes you just want a quiet ride.

So I had a Flowmaster Outlaw on a similar model Ram, and I’ll say at idle this sounds pretty similar. Biggest difference with the MBRP is that once you get up to speed you loose a lot of the background growl (or drone) that you stuck around with the Outlaw. So at idle and getting up to speed it sounds great, cruising you don’t have to hear a constant drone. Best of both worlds. Quality is fine. It’s a muffler.Tips on install: the front muffler hanger you have no choice but to work free, whatever. The rear two, forget about trying. Just unbolt the hanger they are on (super simple, two very easy to access nuts) and deal with it not clambering around underneath the truck. The geometry on everything lines up great, no issues. Your exhaust tips will drop a good one to two inches, I don’t really care and it doesn’t affect anything (you’ll see how it works once you get under there). On the flange side you need to unbolt, my studs were so rusted in the heads sheared off!! Nothing at all to do with MBRP and they do give you new hardware for it so no worries. Just a heads up in case you also run into the same issue. All around a good buy.

Arrived early and in perfect condition. Gives a nice sound to the truck without making it too loud. The only thing I will say is instead of following directions from MBRP, use your common sense, if you have it. The install instructions take you on a journey of disassembly of the whole cat back and removal of it all and then reinstalling. Not required. We installed in about 1hr in these steps.- remove 2 nuts holding rear muffler bracket to frame.- cut exhaust pipe 1" away from weld on rear of muffler- un bolt front flange and remove muffler- install rear bracket and front hanger on MBRP muffler- install MBRP muffler in truck by first mating the rear pipe and the MBRP muffler with supplied clamp, do not tighten. Next attach the rear bracket to frame, also do not tighten all the way. Then bolt together the front flange and attach front hanger making sure all is aligned properly. Lastly tighten everything to torque and enjoy!!TIP: make sure you DO NOT use a grinder to cut the pipe. They make sparks and the fuel tank is not far. Use a hand held saw or Sawzall to make the cut.
