I purchased the SS version of this kit and am quite happy with it, and all my friends say the sound is awesome. I installed it in my 2014 GMC Sierra myself(including removing the old exhaust) with no help in about two hours with my truck up on jackstands.Two things to make your install easier if you buy this, first, the instructions tell you to remove and save(for reuse... YA RIGHT!!) the clamp attaching the CAT to the exhaust pipe, don't listen to this and don't waste your time trying to remove it, just go buy a new one and save yourself some grief; my clamp was rusted on so bad that I had to cut it off with a cutoff wheel. This is not a standard exhaust clamp, so any old exhaust clamp wont work, it needs to be the one designed for your vehicle. IMO this clamp should just be included with the kit, its not expensive, and that's the only reason I gave this a 4 star instead of a 5. To reuse an old clamp on a new install is just plain ridiculous. Second, unless you have your truck up on a hoist and a friend to help you remove it in one piece, don't waste your time trying to get it out in one piece, I cut mine into three of four pieces with a sawzall and it came out super easy :)A previous reviewer was correct, the drivers side pipes come very close to the brake lines, I recommend getting a couple of rubber line clamps like these here https://www.amazon.ca/LOKMAN-Stainless-Cushioned-Insulated-Installation/dp/B01HPE18RC/ref=asc_df_B01HPE18RC/?tag=googleshopc0c-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=335378691119&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=7315495319095637295&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9001270&hvtargid=pla-570094396205&th=1, some mechanics wire, and move them out of the way.The only downside to this kit, is that I can hear the V4 drone now, whereas I couldn't before, and its a little annoying, but Im sure Ill get used to it.

Sounds good as always but poor design as Left tailpipe will melt rear flex brake lines off frame. Ask me khow I know. Towing a 6,000 lb trailer and lost brakes .Contacted MBRP to let them know but not reply from them .will not buy MBRP again

Easy install after existing was removed. Installed without lift. Nice deep tone and good and loud when on the throttle without being obnoxious. Slight drone in V4 mode driving in town more noticeable at highway speed but not overbearing. Great looking product.

Sounds fantastic on my 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 5.3L V8. Not too loud, but plenty loud when you get on the gas. No drone when cruising.

Sounds amazing very loud can tell when it switches from v8-v4 sounds like a Subaru wrx but quieterAdded to truck for the sound but also seen an increase in fuel mileage but I'm also running a KnN cold air intake on my 14 sierra 5.3
