About this item

  • Layered foam target
  • Dimensions 18 x 16 x 11
  • Patented welded layered foam technology
  • material type: Canvas

DELTA McKENZIE ShotBlocker has totally changed layered target technology. Shotblocker targets feature our patented welded-core technology that eliminates the need for platens, plates, cables, wires, straps or bands. What you get is a tougher target in which the layers or sheets can't shift, move or fall apart. They can be shot on all four sides, and best of all, the foam slivering that you get from most layered targets when shooting broadheads is greatly reduced. All this, plus easy arrow removal and integrated handle for easy transport! the travel Pro lets you practice anywhere you want to go. For bows up to 280 FPS. Not recommended for high poundage bows or crossbows.

I am just getting into archery but think this target is great for multiple reasons:1. Stops my arrows shot from 50lbs at 25yd with zero pass throughs (1st photo)2. Durable - 300 shots in and barely looks damaged, almost self healing but not quite (2nd photo)3. Lightweight/packable - I don’t have a good place to shoot in my yard so I’ve been hiking .5mi up a local trail to shoot and this target is a good size and weight to do so every day. Being lightweight it does sometimes move a little when shot.4. There are targets on 4 sides of this block, should last me a long time!3rd photo is of the back side that I have not shot and 4th photo is of the top which doesn’t take hits well.

3 stars since it is a nice, lightweight target if that's what you are after. However, it can't stop my arrows. I'm not shooting anything fast. Old, 70#, single cam, compound rated at 330 ibo, but it's nowhere near that fast shooting 590 grain arrows. I should be under this target's stated rating, but my arrows with field points bury well past the fletching or almost pass through. If I shot more than a few rounds, it would be done. No way anyone shooting any of the newer bows should use this and absolutely don't shoot broadheads into it.Get this for your kid's bow or maybe your trad bow if it's lower poundage, but find something else for your compound. I am.

Great target, 60lb bow didn’t go through it

Does what it is intended to do. Stops arrows from full penetration. I have just been using my TD recurve with #25 limbs and 600 spine arrows with 100 grain field tips. Heavier pound bows and stiffer arrows and points/broadhaeads may have a different result. 5 stars for the price and satisfaction of the target block. On archery sites, sane kind go for well over $100. Great value👍

I wouldn't use it for a crossbow under 50yrds. My husband tried with his and it went straight through it even at 40yrds. So we re purposed it for our sons and it works great for their 30 to 55 lb compound bows. Easy to handle not heavy. Great size for kids just learning and for experienced archers. Also makes a good seat in a pinch. Very sturdy.

I used this target specifically to test hunting broad heads and it met my expectations. Because the heads passed through the back of the target, they can either be removed and the arrow pulled out or the arrow can be pulled right though the target. Some of the knocks got buried in the foam but the arrow could be pushed back to accurately see the point of impact. I am using an Excalibur crossbow with a speed of 345 ft/sec and I had no arrows pass completely though. I also thought that the target was a great buy compared to others on Amazon and it was on sale when I bought it, just over $40.

If you are wanting a full size target, this is not for you. But it is big enough for every day practice. It is very well made, and stops arrows traveling 290-300 fps. Very easy two finger arrow removal. Also you can shoot four sides. It seems to seal fast after your shot, even when shooting broadheads. I would definately recommend this target for the quality and the price. Naturally, being so light it will move around a bit with each arrow hit, but I haven't knocked it over yet.
