A few years ago I purchased an MCY USB-C 8 Port Multifunctional Converter. It was the answer to all my connection requirements!Lately, I have become my 81yo BiLs, main IT tech. While he's not a computer whiz he has some skills.After wanting to pull my hair out helping him transfer a file, I decided to purchase an MCY for him.After explaining that it is like an electronic switch box and a few simple instructions he was moving files like a pro!All humor aside I would recommend this product to anyone who wants great connectivity, ease of use and cost effective pricing.

I’ve tested several USB-C hubs before, but this MCY 10-in-1 Docking Station is by far the most reliable and powerful I’ve used—especially at this price point. I’m using it with both my MacBook Pro and a Dell XPS, and it handles dual external monitors at full 4K 60Hz without any lag. The first HDMI port even supports 8K when connected to my desktop with DP1.4 support. Perfect for video editing and multitasking!The 100W pass-through charging is a lifesaver—I can run all peripherals and charge my laptop at full speed, which isn’t common for hubs in this price range. File transfers via the USB 3.0 and USB-C ports are lightning-fast, and the SD/TF card reader makes importing photos from my DSLR seamless.I also appreciate the built-in Gigabit Ethernet port, which gives me a rock-solid wired connection when I’m in meetings or uploading large files.Whether you’re a photographer, editor, gamer, or remote worker, this dock is a total productivity booster. This is a must have for anyone with a home business or just working from home or even in the office. I have been able to connect all of my devices to it and it all works very well. It has a separate slot for an SD card. I really like this feature because I am able to see all my pictures that I have on it. All you have to do is plug your computer, printer and any other office items you may have it is that easy and small enough to through in you computer bag and take it with you.

With dual monitor support (up to 8K or dual 4K@60Hz), fast charging (100W PD), and plenty of ports—including HDMI, USB, Ethernet, and a card reader—it’s great for work or gaming. I can’t believe the high functionality offered in such a compact docking station! I bought this for my MacBook and it immediately broadened my capabilities and my workspace efficiency. I can easily hook up a dual monitor extended view for when I need multiple screens to work, plus I can hardwire my Ethernet cable for optimal network speed! The thunderbolt feature is a game-changer and I really enjoy the ability to charge my device with the 100W PD pass-through. So many things that make this multifunctional docking station an awesome value!

Over the years I've used a good 4 or 5 different USB-C hubs. This is definitely my favorite so far, and IMHO is even significantly more capable than Anker's 555 USB-C hub.It's super portable and smaller than the Anker 555, which is especially impressive given the functionality it crams in. Though the size isn't super relevant to me as I'm using it as a docking station for my laptop, where it is concurrently handling:- two monitors at 1600p and 1440p-HDR, (at 100hz and 120hz refresh rates, respectively),- an 1Gb ethernet connection,- mouse input,- keyboard input,- and (not pictured) an audio interface,- all while charging my laptop (max 65W).I opted for the blue finish. I was kinda worried it would feel plasticky but it's actually some sort of brushed aluminum, which has a premium look about it and feels very rugged.However, perhaps the most important factor is reliability. I've had tons of issues over the years from cheap USB-C hubs which cut out intermittently, or can't seem to run everything concurrently. On the flip side, some more expensive docking stations require third party drivers in order to run multiple displays. I'm very impressed that there seems to be none of that here. No issues with devices fighting for bandwidth, and no hassle having to figure out drivers!Overall, I've found this to be a shockingly capable usb-c hub! I would recommend.

This USB C hub really impressed me with both its versatility and performance. It’s well built, compact, and packed with useful ports that modern laptops often lack. One standout feature for me is the wired internet (RJ45) port. With so many newer laptops dropping LAN ports, having this option built into a hub is a very smart touch. I’ve tested it with my 1Gb internet connection, and as expected, the stability and speed over a wired connection are unbeatable - far better than relying on Wi-Fi, especially for large file transfers or streaming in high resolution.The dual HDMI outputs work flawlessly, allowing me to extend my workspace with ease. I managed to run one monitor in 4K and another at 1080p without any lag. The additional USB ports, SD card reader, and 100W Power Delivery charging port are also extremely convenient and reduce the need for multiple adapters.Overall, this is a reliable, well-designed hub that makes a noticeable difference in both productivity and convenience. Highly recommend it for anyone who juggles multiple devices, works with dual monitors, or just misses having a good old wired internet connection on their modern laptop.
