This is the coolest airbrush stand around! I know it's a paperweight figure that is a pen holder (or letter opener (the sword) holder) for desktop but.. I think it makes an even cooler airbrush holder and paperweight for airbrushing.Quality wise as a figurine/statuette it's perfect. I found no flaws in the blue version I ordered. If you like knights, fantasy, D&D, RPG games, Arthrian legends, etc. this desktop sculpture is perfect.It can be used as a pen holder, just replace the sword with the pen, after all, it is said that the pen is mightier than the sword -- and hey, a picture is worth a thousand words so I figure the airbrush is mightier than the pen!It's heavy enough to keep papers or stencils from flying off a worktable or desk and it is a very stable holder for whatever fits between it's two gauntlets.Interesting conversation piece. The sword that comes with it fits neatly in it's hands and is a functional letter opener without being too sharp.I love it, and recommend it as a great gift to anyone that loves the subject matter.

Did I need a pen holder? Not really. Am I obsessed with this? 100%There's so much I love about this pen holder. First of all, I didn't know it, but I have always wanted a knight to kneel in front of me and offer me a sword. Second, he does my nice fountain pen justice in a way that a regular cup/ pen holder never could. Third I love the sort of unspoken reference to "the pen is mightier than the sword."A couple of downsides: 1) This is a hefty item. Not in the sense that it's heavy, but that it's large. It takes up a good space on your desk if you have a smaller one or lots of clutter (like me!). Make sure you have the space to dedicate to it and do it justice. 2) Its not the most durable item. One of my arms snapped off almost immediately, making it useless for holding up my pen. I was devastated. I am hopeful I can fix it with the right type of glue but I haven't tried yet.It's pretty pricey so I would definitely take some time to consider before purchasing this item. It makes a nice statement piece or great gift though.

When I saw the photos on the webpage, I thought there was no way it would look that good. I decided to roll the dice and get it and it looks pretty darn good. There are a few places (like on the top of the helmet) where some visible and clearly unintentional imperfections are shown, but all-in-all, it's a good looking product. And the weight of the sword is really nice, so I'm confident that it will last as a letter opener.

pretty cool statue. the paint colors are sharp and the lines are sharp. its well molded and has some decent weight. i haven't tried it yet, but i expect the sword will work well as a letter opener.
