I was a little skeptical of how the sturdiness might be but I was pleasantly surprised after assembling and loading it down with my files. It holds a lot of documents and is very secure. Great option since my desk drawer is just shy of being able to fit hanging file folders. The added drawer underneath is a great bonus and holds many items.

I bought this because of the price, and for the most part it's okay. My biggest issue is the drawer underneath is too small and doesn't stay on its rail. I double checked everything was tight and it just doesn't sit right. Probably not worth taking apart to return so I guess I will keep it

I really like the storage capacity of this file rack. I use it to store files that I access frequently and the drawer on the bottom is very useful as well, but it opens sideways, so you'll want to make sure the side is not blocked. Assembly required, but easy and straight forward to put together. The rack is sturdy on flat surface once weighted with files. This file rack is metal and strong, it should last through years of use without abuse. Recommend.

This desktop hanging file organizer was easy to put together and is made of expected quality materials for the price. I have had some issues trying to find the best place to put this due to the drawer. The labels of your files all go in one direction, while the draw goes in a different direction. At first, I had this on my desk, but then I had to keep moving everything to open the drawer, even my muck pad. Then I moved this over to on top of a small cabinet, and the four small legs make it unstable if what you have it on isn't at least 2 inches larger on two sides. I’m an accountant so I’m preparing to get very busy. This is perfect for my small office space because it saves spaces and helps keep things organized. It has a sleek clean look, a drawer, and I really like that the inside of the folder hanging area does not have any openings/slots for files to fall out of the basket onto the floor. The drawer is perfect for pens, clips, and other small items to be cleared from my desk. It’s easy to assemble and once the drawer is inserted it seems quite sturdy.

I’d give this a 4 out of 5 for set-up. There are instructions, and you will need a screwdriver. Mine seemed a bit unstable at first, but was fine once all set up. I usually use my file boxes forward/back so I can see the labels, but this has to be used side/side. Otherwise the drawer is awkward on the side of the file organizer.Overall I give it a 5 because I am pleasantly surprised with the size. In use, this organizer holds several letter-sized file folders easily. The drawer is also a good size, and raises the files up taller. They are great to hold flags, blank notes, pens/pencils, and highlighters.This file organizer/drawer goes well with the other desk organization items I have made of this black metal (shelves and a 2-drawer combo). These items stay in my desk area for the most part, however I did have move this file box a few times during conferences. It felt sturdy. Though this would probably not be the best choice someone who take home a file box of work every night.
