Fits my 2000 volvo s70 perfectly! Only complaint is the faceplate sometimes comes loose when I pull my phone out of the tray and the edge gets caught on it, so I probably didn't line it up properly when I installed it.

Fits perfect in my 1999 S70. Nothing special but once the belt broke in the tape deck I decided it was time to upgrade to bluetooth and needed something to fill the huge gap left by the old double din head unit. Pocket slid right into place and looks great. I was happy to discover that the cd case brackets have been removed so it's just smooth inside. Very pleased over all.

Easy to install, the instructions were pretty clear, and sits nicely against my stereo and console. Installed in a 2003 Sienna with an aftermarket radio.

I purchased this pocket to go below my new Pioneer DEH-X6700BT since my 2000 Volvo V40's old Mitsubishi SC-816 head unit was a double din unit. I read some where that the Volvo double din size is not a standard double din size, thus only single din units will fit. The pioneer fitment guide helped verify this for me as all the units that fit my car were single din.Anyways this plastic pocket was a little disappointing for me. The look is decent and assembly was easy. Fit was a problem however. The pocket itself fits in my lower din slot quite well. It will move inward if you push it very hard but otherwise the plastic brackets provide a solid fit. The face plates that came with this pocket are what gave me trouble. The one the instructions told me to use would not fit, as their were some plastic rails in the way on my car that prevented the face plate from locking onto the pocket. The other face plates either gave me the same problem or did not cover up the gap between the din slot and the plastic pocket.I ended up using some industrial strength glue to glue the face plate directly to my cars lower din slot. This worked and looked good but I would have rather had the product just fit.Mine had no CD tabs in it and it has 4 holes in the back of the pocket, useful for routing your aftermarket head units microphone through. The plastic tabs that hold the face plates to the pocket are a one time use deal. If you need to remove the face plate from the pocket expect to break these tabs. This product is alright. It is made out of cheap plastic but will get the job done while looking decent. Just don't expect a perfect fit on everything. It didn't fit my Volvo V40 the way I wanted to but I have read that it fits the Volvo 850 well.

I bought this for a Volvo 850 R (1996), and it installed quickly and easily. They break the instructions down by company (Volvo, Ford, etc.). Some of them require you to snap tabs off of the included clips (I had to), but it was easy to do. I recommend being careful when putting the screws in, because they are easy to strip. Snug them up, but don't overdo it. Once I had the unit together (five minutes, maybe), it slid easily into the dash and clicked into place. It wiggles just a little bit up and down, but it seems secure. There's no gaps or anything, and it looks like it might have been factory installed (at least in my car). Also worth noting: mine didn't have the three little CD tabs that other people say theirs have. Maybe they've taken it out, since they're outdated, but just keep in mind yours may or may not have them. Here's the list of vehicles the instructions say this works with, since they didn't bother including it on the product page.Ford:Mustang 94-00Taurus 86-89Infiniti:G20 1999-2002G20 1991-1996J30 1993-1997M30 1990-1992Q45 1990-2001Lexus:ES250 1990-1991Mazda:626 1993-2002929 1992-1997Miata 1998-2005Millenia 1995-2002MX3 1992-1997MX6 1993-1997Protege 1995-2004RX-7 1992-1996Tribute 2001-2006Mercury:Sable 1986-1989Nissan:(all models equipped with stack systems except the quest)Saab:9-5 1998-20009-3 1999-2000Toyota:4-Runner 1990-2001Camry 1983-1996Celica 1982-1997Corolla 1994-1997Cressida 1985-1992Landcruiser 1988-2001MR2 1987-1989Pickup 1989-1995Previa 1991-1995Solara 1999-2003Supra 1982-1998T100 1995-1998Tacoma 1996-1998Tercel 1983-1998Sienna 1998-2001Tundra 1999-2002Volvo:S40 2000-2004V40 2000-200370 series 1999C70 1998-2002C70 convertable 2003S70 1998-2000S90/V90 1997-1999V70 1998-2000850 series 1993-1998900 series 1993-1998960 series 1992-1997

When I assembled this, two of the four `fingers' that secure the faceplate onto the pocket broke. Also, both of the side clips are identical, and therefore one side will not mount properly - my guess is that I received two `Left' pieces instead of one `Left' and one `Right'. Also, the 6 flathead screws included in the kit were too short to actually bite into the plastic and secure the clips onto the frame. I used the round-head screws, but they only included 4.And I agree; they should remove the brackets for the CD jewel cases - who needs them anymore?!Several misnomers in the product description:o- "Installs an aftermarket stereo with the factory radio brackets" - It does not. This is a single-DIN pocket, nothing more.o- "Designed and manufactured with precision tolerances, resulting in a gapless fit between the dash and the kit" - it might be gapless for some, but not a Volvo 850 GLT.o- "Painted to match factory dash color" - as long as your dash is black! This is made with black plastic, it's not painted.Since it is broken, I will attempt to return it. I will also spend some time looking for another pocket from another manufacturer in hopes of a better product.

Bought this for a radio installation in a '97 Volvo 850. Worked great. it has a very sturdy construction with clear step by step instructions for every make and model. the trim looks nice as well and matches almost any interior. will definitely recommend them and by from them for my next project.
