I bought this kit for my 94 GMC. The installation was fairly simple for what it is. If you are not looking to cut up your dash, DO NOT BUY. My truck is not in perfect shape so I bought this item. The product fits like OEM in the place and was a perfect fit for my Pioneer AVH-110BT. Although I wished it came in more colors like the OEM tan, it still looks good in black.

After putting a brand new dash into the truck I wasn’t super-thrilled about cutting it… but, I did… and I like it. Really nice template is provided, I used a cutoff wheel in a grinder (I wouldn’t use a sawsall because of the vibration) after marking dash with template I used the template to hold the wires behind the dash out of the way. The finished product is great and I would certainly do it again!My advice… paint everything before installation. As you can see in the photos, colors fade and there are also different shades of colors. Mines a farm/work truck so it doesn’t matter much, just wish I had known and done it while everything was easier to access…

This worked but had to remove cupholder and cut lower dash as it does state and does have to be done to use. Works well, my only negative comment is it does not mount flush with the glovebox. (See picture provided) Is about a quarter inch inset further than glove box door. The single din kit did not do this.

So simple , yet so sophisticated. This product is a genius solution . The design is flawless, looks awesome and helps modrnise the truck . Installed an android head unit . Now i have android auto rear view camera , all while still looking, stock-ish .. would recommend

So this is the second time I've purchased this specific item. My first one was stolen with my previous DDin fancy touch screen, but I had zero problems or complaints with my first one. It fit great, included a bracket to trace for the dash that had to be "custom tuned" (cut/modified) to fit a DDin under my HVAC center vents. True, I could have deleted those and kept my dash pristine, but those vents are extremely important as they are the main output of heat/ac in these year models (especially when diagnosing temperature of HVAC performance).This time I did, however, opt to place a single din in the place of my double din. This was purely by choice as I plan to add a cubby or switch panel under the head unit and can quite literally fit a second single din stereo under it.I did however find that the measurements were slightly off and this time had to shave a bit off the sides to fit a 7 inch wide (DDin would have needed the same trimming) stereo. This is a good thing, as a tight fit is better then too loose. So you may need to shave the sides with a file or razor to widen it. I dont remember my previous one having to do that, but my expensive DDin touch screen I had installed in it (did I mention some low life #$#%&^%$ stole it?) was snug when fit inside.I've never seen anyone fit a SDin in a DDin like I have in this unit, but if your looking to fit a SDin with a switch panel you will have plenty of room.Thank you for the wonderful product at a price I can not cry over!

Great only problem is it did not come with mounting screws for the head unit.
