Noticed no difference from the black max. I thought maybe i would and im sure the mercury prop is better but they all break the same lol. This one held up a season and looking forward to another. Gets me right up out of the water on my wakeboard too. Good prop. Completely satisfied. Does not come with plastic torque hub.

I replaced a 13 x 17 prop with this prop it increased my speed by 5 or 6 mph plus I can bring my boat up on plane a lot earlier makes my low speed ride a lot smoother.

I bought this prop system primarily for the plastic hub system. I boat year round on the California Delta and there is a lot of crap in the water and some shallow areas. I seem to mess up a prop almost once a year. I like the plastic hub because it acts like a shock absorber for the outdrive. So far so good. The plastic hub with aluminum props and my outdrive is in perfect shape. It also lowers the cost of replacement props a little bit. My only real beef is I feel the replacement props without the hub should be a bit cheaper.

Shipped quickly and installed very quickly and easily. Took it out for the first time and one of the blades snapped off. I didn’t hit anything at all. Was riding in deep lake water all day and all of a sudden it started vibrating. Got it trailered and one of the blades had just snapped off.

I ordered one of these in may 2013, it arrived within a week I believe. looks great, and preformed great all summer long. I boat in a sandy area, but the prop blades held up all summer long until I hit a rock in september, due to low waters, and crappy crewmen. :-/ btw I used this as my main prop, I didn't switch it out all summer. I definitely recommend this prop, and I will buy it again, next time im in need. just beware that the torque hub does NOT come with it, still a great deal!

The prop order was to replace the spare prop I installed when the original prop was damaged. Because it is a spare, and therefore, not yet in use, I cannot yet tell if it has any faults -- it is still in its shipping box.
