Kindly Note:
- 1.Please connect the magnetic connector of the surface pro docking station correctly and plug the connector into your Surface device as shown in the figure.
- When properly connected, the magnetic connector will light up with a white LED.
- If the magnetic head is plugged in backwards, the indicator light does not light up white, only the charging function.
- 2. The indicator light next to the power Port: When connected to the power supply, the white light is on. When connected to the Surface, the green light is on normally; if there is a problem with the product, the white light is on.
- 3. Indicator light on the magnetic head: When connected to the Surface, the white light comes on normally. If the white light does not come on, there are two possibilities: either the magnetic head is not making good contact, or the magnetic head is plugged in backwards.

I tried to connect various external monitors (Dell and LG) and bought various HDMI cables and still doesn’t connect. I was able to connect the monitors directly to the Surface laptop but not through the docking station.

Surface 自体は使いやすくていいのですが プラグがちょっと足らないので この商品のようなもので パワーアップさせるとすごく便利になります。 見た目が ごっつくなりますが しかし機能性も ごっつくなります。 あって損をするものでは全くないですね！

The usb ports stoped working after a few weeks. If you use it with the surface book it blocks the USBC when plugged in. It also drops the display randomly although I think thats a known problem even with the OE Microsoft one. You're better off buying a used genuine one from marketplace.

Surface 5 ももうかなり古くなったので おそらく Windows 10のサポートと同時に使わなくなるかな と思うのですがまだあと1年ちょっとあるので 全然動作は悪くないので使い続けて行こうと思うのですが。私は家の中で仕事をするところが3箇所あって それぞれで外部ディスプレイを用意しています。それぞれの外部ディスプレイに対して HDMI のついている kdm スイッチをつけて使っているのですがその kdm スイッチの先にこのアダプターをつけて使ってみたところ きちんと動作したので 値段の割に間違いないものだなと思いました。常にディスプレイ側にこのアダプターをつけておいて その場その場でサーフェスをこのアダプターにつなぐという使い方をすると 持ち運びするのが Surface だけで良くなるのでかなり楽になるのです。同じようなアダプターをもう一つ持っているのですが それと遜色ない性能だと思います。
