pump bolted right up easily and worked properly. Only problem I experienced is the Unloader was not preset and I had to adjust it for pressure.

I successfully replaced a cracked pump head with this item and it works great. However, the thermal relief valve on the NEW pump was frozen open on arrival such that it was dumping COLD water even before starting the engine on the pressure washer! It's not supposed to open until the water temp is greater than approximately 150 degrees F. I had to swap it out with the valve from the old pump. Also, be aware, this pump head ships with no tension on the unloader so the pump will run in full bypass (no pressure at the spray gun) until this is adjusted. A little documentation would have been nice; you get a pump in box, that's it!

I purchased this product for my hubby. He needed to repair our power washer. The value and price was point on. It was at least $200 less than other places.

Installed the new pump on the bottom of the power washer with the 3 allen head screws, hooked up the hose and power washer wand. Turned on the water, bled the system of air, started the power washer. The motor loaded, then stalled due to the unloading valve not unloading. Shut down power washer, pulled the handle to release the high pressure on the valve. Loosed the unloading valve jam nut, and backed the screw out which reduces the pressure and helps to unload the valve sooner. Jamed the nut and started the power washer, better, but now doing a hunting of loading and unloading. Tried several times of this without any change. I removed the unloading valve, changing it out with the unloading valve from the old pump that is broken. This time the power washer started and unloaded like it should have out of the box. The problem with the product is the unloading valve provided is broken and if tight results in a dead head and stall condition, if adjusted any looser not to stall the pump will hunt, loading and unloading the pressure. I am looking at returning the product or exchanging it with one that works out of the box.
