Great product! Just what I was looking for. Scope mount for AR-15. Well made at a good price. Local gun store wanted $100.00 more for same product.

It seems very good quality. Took five minutes to install and it fits and looks great. It is slightly heavier than other options, but I am ok with that because of the solid build quality and the looks.I did sand the inside of the rings with 320 sandpaper in case there were burrs. But it was really not necessary. They are finished very well and there wasn't really any danger of the rings scratching the scope. The second set of ring tops with picatinny rails is a nice touch. They look nice as well.

I’ve got this holding a budget Bushnell (Banner 2 3-9x40) on an AR-15, and have probably 50 to 70 rounds through it since installing. Mount seems to be holding up just fine. I used blue threadlocker on the picatinny bolts as well as the 12 top scope ring bolts. Since I put on the threadlocker, I’ve had no trouble keeping zero. I went with this mount and a budget optic since I wasn’t sure if I’d like this setup on my rifle...always been a fan of iron and red dot on a standard AR. If you’re looking for a budget cantilever to try running a scope, this is definitely worth trying for the price.

Good solid mount. Needed the forward offset mount to achieve correct eye relief on a flat top AR-15 platform. The milling marks on the body were slightly noticeable, but did not affect function. Two of the screws on the scope ring were a bit gritty coming out, but seamed to torque down ok, at 18 in fps. Slow shipping. Have not tested it for long term function, but it looks like it will work ok at a reasonable price.

In bought this mount to adjust for proper scope eye relief, by reversing it, bringing the scope far enough back and it works great. The mount is steady and hasn't moved at all.The reason I needed a cantilever mount is that the rifle pictured is a 1936 Mosin Nagant M91/30 that after this conversion has to be able to be re-assembled in original condition. In order to do this I modified a 12" picatinny rail that uses the original rear sight mount avoiding the need to drill and tap scope mounting holes. This however still left the scope too far forward. Using this mount solved that issue by bringing the scope within specs with some adjustment left in either direction.

I had recently scoped my M1 carbine with an adapter and the scope was too far aft for good eye relief. With no room to scootch it, I needed something to get the scope more forward. This 'Mee-ZU-gee-wahhh' (I love saying that!) was perfect. If anything, it's possibly more stout than it needs to be. This thing is truly heavy duty! Regardless, it gave me more room to adjust the scope fwd and now, problem solved...perfect eye relief. Again, excellent, well built and it did exactly what I needed it to do and it actually looks pretty sharp!(When I ordered this, I wasn't sure if it would be like the picture, or their description. The description was a little misleading. It indicated it had picatinny tracks on both sides as well as the caps. I was relieved it was just like the picture.)

This is specifically for 1" (25mm) scope, not one for 30mm with adapter rings. It's better to get a mount with the specific size for your scope and use a lapping tool to mount it correctly. The adapter rings just add too many variables into the mounting process that I personally don't like.It fits perfectly with my 10-40x50 scope (in case you wonder why there are no screws on my scope, it's because I didn't mount the scope yet, only fitting the size when I took the picture). It comes as described with 2 sets of top clamps. The base is very study. It stays rock solid even with just hand tightening. The trade off is that it feels a bit heavier than most 2-piece mounts. If you are building a light weight rifle, this is probably not the best choice, even though it is always a good choice. But if you are not concern with an extra oz or two, then this is definitely recommended.
