Quality made filter. I have only used motorcraft filters on diesel trucks and non Ford cars but would not hesitate to use mobil oil filters

Couldn't get my usual motorcraft so ordered this instead. I only go 5k miles between changes so probably any filter will do. This one worked fine.

This is THE oil filter to buy if you have a 7.3L PSD. I change my own oil because it is cheaper for me to run synthetic and do it myself as I put a lot of miles on my truck every year. After hours of research(yes I am a nerd) This was determined to be the best filtering and longest lasting filter for my truck. This filter lets me consistently run 10k miles on an oil change with confidence. I only run Rotella T6 full syn but my truck really likes it. Since you are looking at diy products, I would also suggest the Fumoto valve for the oil pan. With that and punching a small hole in my filter on bottom and top, I was able to change all 15 quarts without getting any on me. Another interesting fact is that my local O'Reillys(sp?) sells this filter for $10-12. Its a great part, but the sellers here are definitely not afraid to PRICE GOUGE. Just sayin... Great part, just check the price before you buy

These are great filters, I've been using them for over 10 years. I've switch around with using other filters for a little while in the last few years maining because of cost, but these seem the best in quality. If you are able to get them for $10 or less this is a great deal. When I started buying them 10 years ago for my 2001 7.3 F250 they cost about $12 at autozone, last I checked they were around $18, but I just checked and they are $12.99 now. Anyways I brought these in a pack of 10 for $6 each, so it was a great deal, and should last me for the next 50,000 miles of oil changes.

Bought them for the price. Not hardcore enough to get oil analysis to track performance. Smooth sides and no take-off nut can be a hassle if you get oil on it when trying to tighten.

Used to use the motor craft filters for my 7.3 PSD, but switched to the M1-601 over a year and a half ago. My oil seems to stay cleaner for a bit longer, and believe they are a 10 micron vs 20 with the motor craft. My OCI is usually 5-6000 miles with Chevron Delo 400 15-40 and this filter. It's been the best combination for my 7.3 running smooth from new oil to old. Being able to order this filter at this price with Prime, and have it delivered to my door is a real advantage and cost savings. Highly recommended!!!
