I wasn’t sure about these being different lengths, or what they would look like on the wall. I didn’t even know if they would have the functionality I needed, but the hooks are just the right size to hang multiple hats on each “branch.” I thought I would be able to use these to hold one hat per hook. Each one fits up to four.I fish a lot and work in the recreational fishing industry…if you fish and everyone you know does too, hats just kind of happen to you.I’ve tried everything else in terms of storage and organization systems. All my ideas either hid them away or created eyesores (the worst was a clear, plastic hat holder that hung on a door, kind of like those old cheap shoe storage systems). I tried hanging them all on one dedicated wall, but it took up way too much space to hang them that way. It felt like a teenager’s room. I’m buying another set of these — setting them up seemed complicated, but once I looked at the pieces it was really obvious: I didn’t even use the instructions. Self-evident, intuitive design.I had a similar style of rack that was floor-standing from a thrift store, but it didn’t have the capacity or the functionality I needed. These are sturdy, sit off from the wall with a generous amount of distance – at first I thought this was strange, but it’s actually necessary. I can hang three or four caps per “branch” thanks to this depth of negative space between the actual rack and the wall it’s mounted on. Ease of installation was a breeze, instructions were super clear, and I couldn’t be happier that my mess of clutter is now neatly hung on these two beautiful wall-mounted racks…and it doesn’t even take much wall space. That surprised me. I’m finally starting to get organized with all of my things and the best news is that I can keep collecting. If I could make one change, I might make the posts vary in length to add more variety. It would make my hats stand out even more, which is wild because I used to try hiding them all in my dresser drawers. But I love the matte black simplicity and the subtle variety of the different lengths of these two racks. Now that my favorite headwear is on full display, I can see my whole “wardrobe” at all times. The key is to turn each of the ones I have on a single hook, just slightly — that way they don’t all face the same way and don’t “tuck” themselves under one other like nesting dolls.I’m proud of these, and they’ve helped me get rid of the old, inherited, ugly, unwanted fishing hats I never really liked but held onto because I honestly didn’t know they were even there. Out with the unworn and in with the new — I keep accumulating them and the collection keeps getting better. My collection is now constantly being refined and upgraded. All the “classics” (my favorites that I’ll keep forever) finally have a place to be seen instead of lost. Frustrated mornings of searching for “that one hat I really wish could find right now” are done.

I liked the ease of putting these together. They look great. Hold a lot and are very sturdy. Only issues I had was when I initially put them together my hands were black. After I wiped them off, I didn’t have that problem anymore.

I bought this for Grandma to display her hats since she is getting older and forgets where they are. It works great. It stored them all in one place and displayed them in a nice pretty way. Now she can see them all and pick one easily. It was very easy to install and set up.

I *like* this rack, but I don't *love* this rack.I put it together pretty quickly and installed it in no time. The hardware is very solid and the powder-coat texture is pretty good. Unfortunately the uneven finish makes it impossible to put a level on it when you mount it on the wall. My level was all over the place. It came with two little freestanding bubbles, but I've got no clue how those things are supposed to work. (Spoiler: They don't work.)I didn't bother trying to square the two racks up with each other. Instead I installed them offset like the product pictures show. This is a good idea and hides some of the flaws. And the fact that the racks are covered with uneven hats hides the fact that I didn't quite plumb them up.These racks had just enough pegs for all of my ball caps. They hang on there OK and the racks look pretty good with the hats displayed. Frankly though, I wasn't looking for a display. Functionality is more important to me than looks. And these vertical racks aren't as functional as horizontal ones. They work fine for hats, but don't really work at all for jackets, so I still need another solution. I'll probably just find a free-standing hat tree for my everyday hats, jackets, and umbrella.I started out by giving this four stars, but ended up talking myself down to three stars after putting my thoughts into writing like this. Sorry.

I have been looking for wall mounted clothes tree for a while, finally saw this cute one, bought it holding the attitude of trying, turn out unexpectedly satisfied. It is a modern fashion and practical coat rack, total of two set, 16 hooks, enough to hang my coat, hat, wallets, jacket and the widget. It's very easy to assemble, it took only ten minutes to assemble, And it is a sturdy coat rack, I will recommend it to friends.

Ordered them originally for coats and rigid hats that I have, however, the design was such that it does not work for that. Ended up using them for some of my soft flat cap collection. The pegs are all parallel with the wall where you mount and are only 4-1/2" away from the wall making it impossible to hand rigid or stiff hats. As you can see in my photo, I could only put soft hats and have them all kicked out at an angle. If the manufacturer would but every other peg at a 45-degree angle, that would take care of all of that!To be honest, I may take them down and put in my closet where they cannot be seen. This is a totally honest review meant in the best way
