First of all, they're packed great, look great. Nice glossy paint protected and arrived without any scratches. I can't tell if there's a clearcoat on them, or if it's just a glossy paint. The locking tabs are slightly different, but the important ones are there.Install isn't super hard. There are a few YouTube videos online for tutorials. I opted to replace the cap without removing the mirror. This means you will inevitably break the lower tab on the original cap. It's not a big deal since the new one has the tab already. It's as simple as popping 3 tabs behind the mirror glass with a flathead screwdriver then pulling the cap away from the mirror.Install is very easy, but here's where things aren't perfect. One of the 3 tabs that hold the mirror in place are not quite formed correctly. No amount of pressure on the cap could get it to lock into place. This was true for both mirror caps. In fact a second one on the drivers mirror cap wasn't quite locking either. The solution was using a flathead screwdriver to get the tab on the cap underneath the locking tab of the mirror. Basically a twisting action with the flathead. See photos for where these tabs fall short.Would I buy them again? Yep. They still look great. I'm holding them at 4 stars for now, and give it some time. If the covers painted surface holds up after a few months I will actually update it to 5 stars and ignore the tab issue.
