I wish I had read the reviews before I wasted my money on this crap. Installation was about 6 out of 10 since I had to take the front passenger wheel, serpentine belt, alternator and radiator overflow tank off to take out the old one. Installed the new one and it worked okay for about 2 weeks and then the check engine light came back on. About 2-3 weeks later it started having intermittent problems and making the car shudder and no power. I drove it home one day from work and it felt like I was driving on a cobblestone road. I sent a message to the manufacturer and I never heard back. Just buy one from Rockauto.com.

I ordered the product because it was cheaper than the auto part store. It was also the same part number. Installed a week later and three months later car started having same problems. I just purchased the one from auto part store.

Perfect fit for my Nissan Altima coupe 08. My mechanic didn't have any problem installing it. It's been 8 months and have no problem. Hopefully it will last long.

Okay only reason I gave this a 4 star is the heat shields had to be just a little fabricated , and costed me more time then the had but I was already committed so no turning back1.the screw hole where off in either direction about 3/4 inch so I had to do some drilling and light hammering to adjust and2. the converter was a Lil shorter then mine but I had some play in the exhaust pipe also3. I had to cut a little off the heat shield so the exhaust pipe could mount.4. The screws that came with for the mounting of the exhaust pipe are really cheap when I was tightening it down it sealed the gap but then striped so I just left it on, my would suggest using the old bolts if they work or buy some better ones, other then that it’s been a few days since the install and all is great engine light still off as well and performance is very noticeable. I would recommend!

Pleased with item. Some shield holes did not align. Bending of shields was required. Flatness of the manifold plate was off by 0.008" compared with Nissan's specification of 0.004" maximum, but the plate sealed fine.

Price was very very good compared to the quote I received from a muffler shop

This part saved me thousands of dollars. It was relatively easy to install (youtube is my friend) and fit perfectly. It is not for California emission vehicles, but since I'm not in California I used it anyways. The heat shield was a little hard to put back on due to it being smaller than the Cali converter. If you don't tighten everything down until every screw is started, it works fine. The car no longer states I have insufficient catalytic converter and past emissions without an issue. It is slightly louder than the original but not enough to bother me. Would definitely buy again.

I had my converter installed at a local corner tire and muffler shop for $160. Check engine light immediately went off. Drove the car home (31 miles away) and halfway home my car began loosing speed, bucking, and choked out on me as soon as I got downtown Dallas. Assuming it was the converter again I had roadside tow my beloved 2010 Nissan Altima 2.5 back to Hurst so my mechanic could read the codes. Needless to say it was NOT the P0420 code anymore. My engine was over heating (he replaced the thermostat when he had the car for the converter). We've added coolant (which I had more water then coolant in it done by another mechanic) and I'm going to ATTEMPT to drive it home again (this time with my husband trailing behind). I will leave an updated review for the converter once I'm able to drive it more in a few more months. SO FAR SHES DOING HER PART!
