Frame bend easily while painting and the cover prevented the roller from moving

In theory I thought this would be a good idea, I thought with the cover on it it will keep the paint from splashing everywhere and should be easy to roll on the walls in the ceiling. Boy was I wrong, the cover barely stayed on and it was dinging the wall so bad that I thought I was going to make the paint job just take even longer trying to adjust myself around that cover. I eventually took it off and just try to use the roller but that began to bend the more I used it so ultimately it was a piece of trash and I was covered with paint and I can't even return it.

Purchase this for the shield, but it barely stays on, keeps falling off. so just using it as the pole/

Great thing to paint wall and floors. The head can be replaced. Extends enough to paint in the stairs (1.50m), but do not extend too much because at one point it gets flimsy. For little work here and there like painting the cement terrasse it is perfect. For high ceiling get a ladder.

Its not bad it got the job done, But its pretty poorly built, First the yellow cap on the very top of the arm fell of in the middle of painting andI had to tape it back on, Also when it is fully extended where the joints meet have a very weak point and will bend if you put too much pressure on it which is required when trying to pay down paint in an even manner. And also be sure to ditch the little see through roll cover before you start or else its gonna fall off and land on the paint. Overall its not bad but not too great but I guess you get what you pay for, IDK what I expected for $10.

Works as advertised. I have used it a lot for ceilings and walls. Good value for the money.

I bought this because it had a roller frame cover so it would stop drips and splattering. I even emailed Mr. Longarm's Customer Service to see if any roller cover would work with the Mr. Longarm Smart Painter II system. Their customer was prompt and courteous in the reply and I was told you could use any 9 inch roller cover with it. I already had some Wooster covers in 3/8 & 1/2 inch nap that I planned on using. So I ordered it and upon receiving it I put on a Wooster 3/8 nap lint free roller and put the roller frame cover on and the roller, and it would not roll with the cover on. The Mr. Longarm roller covers are shaped different on the ends to give it more clearance from the roller frame cover, so I guess you have to buy their rollers for it to work. They didn't say they were lint free nor looked like a lint free roller. So I used it without the cover and it worked ok, while rolling the ceiling the system bends where the frame screws on the pole. I am disappointed, I only bought this for the cover and I could have bought a better roller frame and pole from Lowes and received a military discount at a better price.
