These denim shorts fit really well and have just the right amount of stretch. The high waist is super flattering. Love the raw hem and the pleated design, it adds a little something extra. Plus, the pockets are actually usable. Great for casual summer days.

If you read many of my reviews, you'll know I'm a denim lover from WAY back! So when I see interesting denim clothing, I have to order it! This definitely falls under the purview of interesting (in a good way)!These shorts, which remind me of a pleated skort, are... cute! They're not something I will wear every day or with any typical sort of top, but I think with the right cropped tee and sandals (perhaps Greek-style) or even a light pullover sweater and boots on cooler days, these can fit right into many wardrobes for various fun occasions.The only issue I had was with the fit. The size guide suggested a Medium for me, and against my instinct I followed the advice. I will have to wear a belt with these, and I'm quite sure they would look better if they fit a little tighter,but I'm still not sorry I got them. If you're on the fence about which size to order, order down.Be very aware that these have and unhemmed finish, so don't be surprised to see a few extra strings hanging from the trim. I had a few, and simply snipped them off. This gives me pause about washing them like I would other denim shorts. However, as these will be a rarely worn item, they care they require won't be much of a hassle. hand wash or wash in a laundry bag on gentle; and I don't recommend drying them (nor do the wash instructions). The denim is of good quality, and I noticed no harsh chemical smell. There is NOT ANY NOTICEABLE STRETCH or "give" to the fabric, so don't order them too small, but make sure they fit correctly for the best look. They're pretty set in their (generous) size.Overall, a decent garment offering interesting wardrobe styling options.

These were surprisingly cute and flattering. The extra wide leg and the pleats give it the look of being a skirt from the front, but the back just looks like a pair of extra wide shorts. It creates a really nice hourglass Effect. The fit was exactly as expected, and the fabric has a little bit of stretch in it too. Which makes them feel like they move with you. The color is great and I can't wait to wear these more this summer!

I wanted to give these 3.5 stars but since that's not an option 3 stars it is. These shorts looks cute.. on paper.. or a very thin person, maybe. On a slightly chonk girl, such as myself at 5'3", 155lbs, they are absolutely comical. Comical!!! The pleats, which are only in the front, do fan out as pictured but the effect is less than flattering. I mean, laugh out loud UNflattering!!I think they may have potential, though. Maybe. So, I'm stashing them for the Summer and I'm sincerely hoping once all my Winter weight is back off again I can wear them and Not feel like I'm wearing a denim diaper.Soo, Here's to Fall!!Seriously, hopefully some skinny chicks can come redeem these shorts because I sadly can't say very much nice about them: they are made of good quality fabric that looks and feels like real denim. The craftsmanship is also quite good.They are cute.. until I put them on. XD

These are a lot cuter than expected. The size is accurate. Well made. Denim. Those pleats in the front aren't nearly as obvious as I was expecting. 12yo girl approved.

I have tried on a zillion shorts to find the right length, style and fit. These are perfect. They are very comfortable and I like the flare design. (They honestly looked weird in the product listing, but I decided to try them and I’m glad I did.)The fabric is stretchy, soft and very comfortable. I didn’t want to take them off. They also flare really nicely and look good with basic tees. I tried them with more cropped tops and I didn’t like the style as much. I think these go well with something longer to accent the flare part.I am 5’4 and 130-135 pounds. I purchased a large because I like an oversized fit. They fit very well. I sized up since I’m normally a medium. I think they are true to size, but I recommend sizing up if you like looser jeans (they stay on easily if you size up and it just adds to comfort.)Highly recommend these jean shorts!
