solo funciono por 6 meses exactamente. el dispositivo no envía señal, el LCD esta encendido pero muestra textos, no permite operar y no hay una pagina de soporte. es una pena porque parecía buen producto y se miraba robusto y de calidad, pero al parecer no es de uso prolongado.

This is an excellent product. I am able to work at my desk or in my recliner and be able to have to monitors whichever place I choose to work. Though I have spent several hours trying to figure things out. If you not a programmer or have any idea on computers. I would not recommend you get this. This is more for intermediate to advanced computer skills. Though, I do intend on putting a "how to" video on youtube to be able to get more of a clarification. The video will cover how to connect up one computer and still be able to show your computer on extended displays 2 at a time over 4 monitors. I will have this video completed by March 1st 2025. That way you will be able to view 2 monitors at a time separately with extended displays. The disk (included with product) was a big help to be able to find the application needed in order to run the software off my computer. After several attempts and numerous trips to Best Buy. We got everything connected as well as up and running.Note: You will need some additional hardware if you are wanting to purchase this item. I had to purchase the following items:-RS 232 to USB Serial Adapter-DP (Display Port) to HDMI adapterOther Recommended Hardware:-4 HDMI compatible Monitors-6 (Minimum) HDMI CordsUPDATE 11/24/24: This splitter has been AMAZING. It allows me to work and simultaneously switch between 4 monitors and if needed I can add another device and switch between that as well. It has taken some time to figure out how to operate this switch matrix. But once you understand it. Its AMAZING!!! Definitely Recommend!

Very good quality Matrix 4 in 4 Out Switcher, video quality was maintained, easy to set up, but also offers through RS-232 connection if you have a Windows computer nearby more possibilities. Overall good value.

This is based on my son's input; he showed me the functions and the ‘experience’ is from him. His setup includes a TV and a Computer monitor. As inputs he uses a desktop computer, PS4, Laptop and one cable is open for “other” things. When he demonstrated this, I was impressed about the simple functions. The item seems initially complicated when you look at it but upon demonstration this was very easy. He presses button 1 to choose the input, then the switch button and then the button where the signal needs to go. He can do this in multiple fashions splitting the inputs and changing them or even displaying them simultaneously. He said there was no noticeable degradation of the picture quality. I asked him and he gave it a 5 star.He explained that he has not tried to install the app for split screen. He said it's not something he needs.
