Got the DSS Games My Funny Family [Fun Card Game for Kids, Adults, Families | Great for Parties, Game Nights, Travel Games, Camping, Family Vacation | Easy to Learn and Family Friendly | Family Games Ages 10 and Up] to play on vacation. It’s an interactive card game similar in style to the Apples or Humanity games. This one is more family friendly and less controversial. You need a minimum of 3 players and is suitable for kids 10+. It’s pretty fun and is an easy way to pass the time.

I got this to play with my younger siblings/cousins on a family vacay & it did not disappoint! Getting creative with the cards was so fun- we were coming up with the craziest combinations 😆 If you’re having a family party/trip & need some entertainment, this is perfect 🙌 (it’s of course also perf for a family game night too. We’ll definitely be playing this one often!!)

This card game provides a lot of fun for family & friends. It's recommended for at least 3 players from about 10 years old to adults. There are a total of 400 cards including one bundle of "setup" or statement cards & 3 bundles of "response" cards. The cards are 2"W x 3" H with the "setup" cards purple & the "response" cards green. The "setup" cards are printed with the beginning of a phrase & are placed face down on the table. Each player receives 5 "response" cards that complete the statements on the "setup" cards. The remainder of the green "response" cards are placed face down on the table to draw from for subsequent rounds. The reader of the phrase is the judge of that round & they determine who has the funniest response. The youngest player starts the game by reading the phrase on the top card off the "setup" deck. Each player chooses their funniest response, places it face down & then reveals it in turn. The player with the funniest response as determined by the judge wins the round & keeps the "setup" card. Each player draws a new response card & the next round begins. The 1st player to collect 7 "setup" cards wins. It's easy to learn, provides a lot of laughs & can include the whole family. The cards are relatively thin but are coated so should provide many hours of use. A sturdy box is provided for storage along with instructions & information on other games & the manufacturer's website.

Very similar to other games of this nature which we like, but we found these responses to be rather boring and cheesy. Not great.

We've played the game three different times - all in different scenarios... once in the car, once around the dinner table, and just last night out on the patio. This game is great for the entire family... think of Cards Against Humanity, but for family. Nothing crude or out of line for our 9 year old... the 4 year old liked to be involved and select winners, but most of it was over his head. Everyone in our family laughed uproariously while playing. There are a ton of cards for hours of play.The cards are a bit small - but works well for smaller hands - not a problem.Suggestion: Expansion packs, please!!

My Funny Family game is a quality little card game for three or more players age ten or older that is easy to play. This is about the age that I would recommend. I did not see any foul language in the cards we used, but some of the humor might be lost on the under 10 crowd. My adult family members playing together had some good laughs; it also had us taking our time and telling family stories. Oh, what my elderly father learned about our younger years! There is a good number of cards for multiple games without repeating cards. I don't know how long it would take if we had not gotten sidetracked, but we were entertained for almost three hours. A wonderful time was had by all. I would recommend these for a fun family bonding time and the ability to encourage discussion. It is a good value for the money; but who can put a price on quality family time these days? They exceeded my expectations; 5-stars from me.

When you first try a new family game, there is always this question, “is this going to be a hit with the family?” My Funny Family is a HIT!! This game is hilarious and actually allows my 10 year old daughter to think about which response card goes best with the setup card to create something really funny. I love how the judge gets rotated around so everyone, including my daughter gets to sit in that decision making seat.The phrases you come up with based on the cards are hilarious. This game is a huge hit with my family. When we first broke it out, we played for 2 hours straight. Get this for yourself and a friend!My 10 year old’s new favorite family game!
