I didn't realize how small they are, but it doesn't matter. It's why your grandmother put pennies in her pots -- copper. I believe these are already doing a good job for me with some strawberry plants growing quicker than I thought they would. I'm pleased with these!

I’ve noticed that all of the plants that have the copper posts in the pots have had to be repotted into bigger pots because they’re all growing.

Gave these as a gift for someone's porch tomato plants. All but one plant got one and guess which plant did not do well. I have received tomatoes from the other plants, very nice and delicious. Giftee was pleasantly surprised.
