This adds a nice visual interest to my boring barn wall. It was easy to assemble and easy to train a vine to grow on.

I made a trellis on my fence a while ago using just eye hooks and wire. I was happy to find this kit because it contained everything I needed to make another trellis and it was easier to work with. I still struggled with getting the wire taut enough, but at least my blackberries have something to climb in the spring season. This is a nice set for gardener that wants to put something up on a fence or other structure to help those climbing plants look nice and stretch out.

Pretty common hardwares that you can easily get from any stores like home depot - just in a box as a set with a higher price-tag. I would not order if not for the vine program.

TL;DR; Wire is solid not stranded. Wire and eyes are Stainless.I have no particular plan for this kit but I was expecting stranded wire however the description is accurate. The eyes and wire seem to be very high quality stainless with very little magnetic attraction in the kit I got. More on the wire than the eyes. I think this would be a durable kit for its intended purpose. It includes plugs and all hardware so all you need is a drill if going into masonry.I’m not entirely sure of the value of this kit so I’d shop around. Stainless hardware can be expensive so perhaps it is a good quality to value price point.4.5 stars I think it would be better with a stranded aircraft style wire but it fully meets the description.

This is a decent little kit, but it doesn't really offer anything that you couldn't get at a typical hardware store. It's also a tad on the pricey side for what's included. The bright side of this is that if you decide to expand your layout beyond the capabilities of this kit, it will be easy to locally source more parts. It also has the benefit that they've done the work to make sure the ferrules are the right size for the wire and the anchors are the right size for the eye screws. You will need your own tools to cut the wire and crimp the ferrules. A stout set of pliers capable of cutting steel wire should cover both of those tasks. The company has a nice inspiration/instruction guide on their website, however including some simple layout plans and instructions with the kit itself would have been helpful. The instructions show how to join multiple lengths of wire using loops made with the ferrules, however they do not go into how to terminate the ends of the wire. You can infer that the same method will be used (loop wire through eye screw, crimp ferrule to secure it), but explicit instructions for those less familiar with this type of hardware would be beneficial. All said, the listing is accurate and up front about what's included in the kit, yet somehow it still underwhelms a bit when actually opening it given the price point. Think of it as a good starter kit, and use what you learn from it to expand your design on your own. This review was for "National Hardware Wire Trellis Kit, 50 Ft Stainless Steel Plant Wall Wire Trellis forClimbing Plants and Vines"

Great trellis kit! I've been using the screw eyes to put in posts and then the trellis wire to go between the posts for raspberries and blackberries. I'm happy how easy they were to screw in and twist the wire around the screw eyes. It only took me a few minutes. Easy to cut the wire the length I wanted. Easy to make the wire tight too. I'm super excited about having a trellis for my berries and really glad I got this.

The kit includes plenty of wire, enough so I purposely did a extra horizontal run on the top and bottom. I probably should have twisted more at every "joint" but I elected to do one or two loops over the screws. The wire is sturdy but malleable- I'd recommend stretching it out and straightening it before running it. A smart person would also have cut it more than I did (which was not at all). While I'm writing this before it has much chance to grow, my little sprouts at least have something to climb along.
