The food is fresh and ready to use to feed your dog. .Installation/setup: Open can and feed to your dog.Final thoughts: I got this to feed to my neighbor’s dogs while I dog sit. Instead, I use it to treat them. I like to split one can between the two dogs. It's a small amount but they really like the flavor. They are English springer spaniels and are more of a medium size dog. It’s not much more than a bite or two for them, but they look forward to it. I like this and I’m glad I got it.⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.

It was a good smelling food, although my dog is picky on what she likes to eat, she preferred the chicken flavor over the beef.
