i didn't see anywhere that this would not work on handle mounted pull cord mowers. the pull cord is long enough and matches the original length but the recoil spring is wound to tight to allow the cord to be pulled this far

I did not like this product soon as I pulled on the string the spring popped out leaving it inoperable and useless.

This device broke immediately upon use after installation; by the third pull it broke. The hole placement was incorrect, and when I took it apart to fix it, I realized it was made with subpar material. I cannot recommend this.

The product broke the first pull on April 17 installed April 15th dont buy garbage. I bought in nov didn’t even make it five months with no use

Worked for eight pulls then wouldn't rewind. The retainer screw stripped out. I used the pulley and spring from my old unit to make it work again.
