I began to install the trailer hitch for my 2021 Toyota Highlander. The problem was the bolts that were provided did not fit my vehicle. The bolts were a course thread and I needed a fine thread. So I began a hunt for the correct bolts in my town.Lowe’s, no, Harbor Freight, no, went to Toyota Parts Dept. they could order them but it would take 5 days to get them. This hitch is suppose to fit a 2021 Toyota Highlander. I finally, tried my local Ace Hardware and they had the bolts. I purchased 6 bolts with fine threads for $5.79 each. That is a total of $34.74, money I shouldn’t have to spend. The next time I will call the company before I order. Someone just didn’t do their job and placed the wrong hardware in the box. Very frustrating. I probably should have gone with the Draw Tite Company. I tried to save a few bucks and it cost me time and money to make it right. MAJOR FRUSTRATION

WARNING!!! This product is not compatible with the 2023 Toyota Highlander XSE AWD.The product it’s self is nice. Very sturdy and well made. Unfortunately does not work with this specific model.The rating is based on lack of information and modifications for this model.
