So I ordered this for a transfer tank, stupidly forgetting that the bottom of the tank is diamond plate like the rest of it. Obviously this wasn’t going to work without some very careful surface grinding that I just didn’t want to do (because I almost certainly would have effed up). The seller was very understanding and the return process was easy.So even though I never installed it, I can say that it was a quality piece. Nicely machined, I have no doubt about it being a reliable sump. It was bigger than I was expecting but I could have prevented that by reading the description.In conclusion, i should have never ordered it for what I was trying to do but I would not hesitate to order it again for a tank with a flat bottom.

I put the 2 sumps I ordered in a 1992 f350 diesel I am building. They leak a little bit out of the drain plugs. Had to buy adapters to make it work for my specific application but it is a significant improvement over what was in the truck

Made in the United States of America installed easily in minutes for me it and was completeBut I am sceptable as far as I seen it doesn't say where in usa and I would be proud to say anyway price wasn't ridiculous or gouging as others. fittings were of quality . The O ring looked and felt also of quality nothing in description of material . time will tell no instructions of torque or placement of unit so also sceptable on that

The threads for the barb fitting was messed up and the hole it screws into on the sump wasn't even round had to drill and re-tap threads and use JB Weld but it works. So far.

great sump installed mine this weekend when was not to bad only thing i can say is thread tape sump clean out plug or it will leak a little and use motor oil for the push on fuel fitting it will help pushing the fuel line on and thread tape it as well just to make sure. Mine come in blue. i have had it on there for a couple weeks now and have not seen anything leaking from around the seal or fitting great product. This is one of the time a cheaper product does not mean cheap made. (1999 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9L Cummins)
