About a year ago, I purchased a large stainless steel massively oversized spoon rest, the object of which was to utilize it for a spoon and cooking utensil rest, while preparing food. I am clueless as to why, but the other half simply feels that it is insufficient in size. TO me the washability of a stainless-steel device for such a purpose was good. Since that purchase, I have been looking for another option that would perhaps be larger. THIS Is PERFECT!Silicone is a product that I have come to greatly love, given that it is so heat resistant and that it is so easily washed off. Simply dipping this into the sink for a soapy rinse or even allowing it to soak with the dishes is perfect! Additionally, I love the innovative little silicone handles by which one can do some customizing of the spoon rest! If you want to keep a handle elevated a bit, making them easier to grab, this spoon rest is perfect! I also love the fact that the spoon rest is in the shape of a basin that allows you to further contain any potential runoff or mess from spoons or utensils.Given my personal experiences, I am already entirely enthusiastic over this spoon rest. The customizable aspects of the basin configuration for mess containment, and the fact that it is comprised of silicone combine elements that make this spoon rest an absolute winner! My most enthusiastic recommendation! You seriously will NOT regret getting this!
