I bought these mainly because of the lids. They are silicone and seals perfectly. I like having the option of throwing bowl back in fridge. Most of the ones I was researching were regular plastic lids. I feel those will wear off and warp quickly. The utensils were useless in my opinion. I wish they sold the lids separately. I have bought the pack from same company without them. Tip if you throw in dishwasher: use Molly's suds for detergent. Your silicone won't have an odor like it does with Cascade.

Love these! I love that you can have the quality of the stainless but also less mess with the suction cup

I liked this set. I liked that these bowls could grow with the child. Down the road, a soup bowl, a cereal bowl, a travel bowl with snacks. Even a left-over from dinner bowl with a lid for the refrigerator.I have yet to find an eating set that has been a complete WOW for me.We are experimenting still to find the right set up, but realize as baby grows, so will our need to keep finding the perfect silverware and bowls. Overall, we like this set.If you have more than 1 child, each child can have their designated colorHowever, if you have more than 1 child, you would not necessarily be having the same issue of needing silicone silverware and suction bowls. The suction is fair. I have seen better suction to the point I could barely get it off. And I have seen worse. As for utensils. A silicone form is near impossible to stab anything with. And yet, you don't want to give a new eater a metal fork.As for a self-feeding spoon, this is a bit big. you really have to play around with which foods work best on each type of utensil you try.We have found the ones so far, we like the best have a real long thin handle and a very small and flexible spoon. We have a young eater (9 months), so when the spoon goes in the mouth it gets teethed on for a bit before ready for the next spoonful.

This is a nice set! I like the colors and the stainless steel bowls are removable from the silicone outside which is nice for cleaning. Suction was about normal for most toddler bowls, so with some force they can be pulled up by stronger kids. My bigger concern would be the kiddo pulling the stainless bowl out of the silicone cover which would make the suction a moot point.I docked a star for two reasons: the removable design of the stainless piece makes the suctioning of the bowl not super helpful! And the utensils are really thick which isn’t the greatest for toddlers who are starting to learn how to properly eat with a fork, but this second one may be personal preference on our part!
