I love this thing. I use it everyday to work on my bow and even crossbows. It locks into place and doesnt move when im tightening up my bow

This is a great piece of equipment and essential for the DYI person. The rotating ball and clamp are great and easy to use and make small adjustments. Heavy duty sturdy material. I really like it!

I just received the vise and it is simple to use and setup. I have already had 3 different bows in it and it holds them steady while I work.in them.

Works much better than any other bow vise except maybe ez green arm-vise. Second best is good enough for me.

Very nice, best vice I've used so far. The only downside is that it doesn't work very well for doing 3rd axis adjustment as you can't lock it to a single 90 degree tilting plane. You can still do it, but you need another level on the bow somewhere.

after reviewing several bow vises, I finally decided to go with the OMP versa-cradle 360. the steep price had put me off for too long, but I knew this thing would eventually pay for itself in the long run, personally I think every bow vise out there is severely over-priced, even the cheapest Apple economy one. but after seeing every pro shop having one, and them remarking "yeah it's pricey but it's worth it" I bit the bullet. a good investment. The Good: this thing is built like a tank-seriously, the cradle, mounting plate, and handle are about 5/16" to 3/8" thick. and every thing is solid heavy-duty steel, no worrying about dinging this thing up. it feels heavier then the 6.5 Lbs it says it is. but once you put it where you want, you;ll never worry about it. it has 2 locations for the clamp, so any bow will fit. The Polyurethane pads are non marring and won't get compressed like other pads. the handle is in a semi-locked state till you lock it down tight.allowing you to move the bow in infinite positions, and to get minute adjustments. and once locked down, this will not budge, creep at all. I've put a bow in a horizontal position with a 10# weight hanging off the other end. and absolutely no movement. there is an adjustment screw inside that you can tighten if this ever becomes a problem. The Bad: The only thing That I can say is the price, I bought it here for $249. just before Christmas, since then I see it's down to $196. curse my hastiness. and maybe the weight, but then that's a non-issue affecting the shipping charges only.In summary, this is by far the best vise available, the price is down now, I still think that's too steep by about $50. but that's me.But, I'd rather overpay once for the best quality product, then be cheap & buy twice for an inferior item. for the price I think it should come with the versa-clamp, ( a 3" HF 'C' clamp works too) and a 15% coupon from OMP, but when you buy from a Made in America Co. that's what you get.

This bow vise is great. I have used it for a couple of months now in my home shop and have been incredibly impressed. It has accommodated every bow I have put in it and the ease of moving the bow from one position to another has really helped my setup and tuning time. I debated on a less expensive alternative vise, but am very glad I went this route.

What you need to know: This is a quality bow vise and it works. Bow grip locks solid, Grip arm ball-and-socket locks solid and easily unlocks for re-positioning. Vise Grip Arm lock handle is equipped with spring tension release for quick locking / unlocking - very nice touch. Mounted easily to my gun bench with a bolt, washer and nut that I got from a hardware store. I preferred that over the smaller hardware that comes with it. You may or may not need to OMP Versa clamp; depends on your mounting surface thickness and preference. I have the clamp and may use it if I elect to mount this vise on a different table. Holds either single or dual limbs bows. Photos show a dual limb in the vise.I was disappointed in the price especially after tax and shipping were factored in: But this is Top Shelf equipment so I got over it right after I installed it. I have little tolerance for cheap equipment so I'm glad I spent the money.
