About this item

  • What You Get: Package includes 5PCS soft octopus lures in 5 colors (yellow, orange, black, purple, white).
  • Soft Octopus Lure: Octopus swimming jigs are made of soft premium plastic material with tough texture, reusable and durable, particularly bite resistance.
  • Lifelike Swimbait Jig: Each trolling squid jig bait is attached with heavy duty skirt tail to prevent being covered with weeds, and the octopus lure looks perfectly lifelike as swimming flexibly in water.
  • Ring & Double Hooks: Good quality single barbed hook and triple hook connected to the head for your target fish to increase catching rate. An extra ring on the top of octopus lure can attach another hook with snap leader.
  • Lingcod Jigs: Soft octopus fishing lures can be applied to catch lingcod, bass, mandarin fish, etc. Weighted hook inside the octopus jig head guarantees far throwing distance especially in saltwater, like ocean fishing and rock fishing.

Saw these on a YouTube video for folks trying out wacky lures for bass. Decided to give them a go.First thing, before you use them remove the treble hook from the bottom because it just snags weeds and anything else on the bottom. Took them to a few local ponds and they absolutely destroyed the bass. Cast out, let sink to the bottom and bring them back pretty quick with a popping rod action. In the water it looks like an insane Crawfish with giant eyes. To top it off the bass in the pic was by FAR the smallest one. The others were absolute slabs from ponds I never caught anything bigger than a minnow from. With the plastic all around the bait they simply inhale it and refuse to let go.

These are exactly what I was expecting. I haven’t caught anything with them yet, Just did a few casts for practice. I like the colors and they took advantage of the big octopus head and put a good weight in it so it casts really well 😂. I cannot speak for durability yet but they look well made.

I haven't tried them yet but right away I see the hooks are way too small for Ling Cod, my target fish! As they are they look about perfect for the smaller rock cod types.I will be at the least removing the treble hook and replacing it with a much bigger stinger hook.Yes, they are small but I have seen big lings brought up with lures of the same size. Can't wait to give them a try!!

Fun while they lasted. Granted these arent for the snapper and grouper, but as soon as it hit the bottom, it was on!It was a blast.I'm going for the bigger ones like these and hope for the best.
