I got these for a sensory seeking 3 year old but they ended up being a hit with all my kids. In some areas the sequins can be difficult to make turn over so my smallest has been frustrated a few times but overall the variety of games and uses my kids have used these for has been worth it. We didn't leave them on the ring, I found that to be frustrating unless I wanted to store them that way (which I didn't). We've found the best way to enjoy them is just to lay them out on the ground and just watch what the kids come up with. No issues with sequins coming off or seams coming apart and my kids play pretty rough with them.

Nice quality fidgets. These are pretty big, nice for putting on a wall or having on the floor as they have some sort of non slip surface on the other side. There are enough in a pack that you could give some to a group of kids for fidgeting with. As an occupational therapist working in schools I gave some to special ed teachers and teachers for their calming spaces. They are working great so far and the kids like them.

These sequin discs are lightweight, flexible, and the colors are bright. These make great flexible seating choices in the classroom. They are also great for a calming corner or sensory space. Manipulating the sequins is mesmerizing and relaxing. I think I enjoy them as much as my students!

I purchased a flippable sequin pillow a while back for my family room sofa. I enjoyed playing around with it, as did many of my guests. In particular, my adult grandson who is a designer, loved playing with my pillow. So when I saw this set of 10 round and colored sensory mats, I thought they would make the perfect gift for my nephew and his 3 year old son.I like the assortment of vibrant and metallic colored mats in this set. However, I found that the sequins in my pillow are easier and more enjoyable to manipulate than the sequins in these flat mats. Maybe it's the soft contours of the pillow that allow the sequins to flip more freely and easily? Or maybe it's because the surface area of my pillow is larger than the area of the round mats?At any rate, I think that my son and his son will enjoy playng with these mats. I think it's a good surface for my grandson to practice drawing basic shapes along letters and numbers. I have found that making rounded shapes with the sequins can be especially challenging, so I think it's important not to have perfectionistic expectations and just go with the flow. Afterall, first and foremost, it's a sensory experience!

These sequin fabric mats are very innovative and fun. I like that they have non-slid backing. They can either be hung up or laid down on flat surface. My children also enjoy playing with them in the lap. I love that there are numerous colors and all of them are beautiful. For some reason, some of the sequins are harder to flip than others. Nonetheless, overall they work as expected and have not gotten any kiddos frustrated. I particularly appreciate the large ring they can all be attached to.Highly recommend! I hope you find my review useful.

From wife- I got these for our atypical kiddo to use for sensory play. He loves them and will play with them forever. * I catch myself playing with them too. Very satisfying for sensory seekers.

We added this sensory sequin board to our dementia care unit, and it’s been a huge hit. Residents love running their hands over the sequins, creating patterns, and watching the colors shift. It’s calming, tactile, and gives them something soothing to focus on. It’s lightweight, easy to hang, and adds a fun visual element to the room. A great addition to any sensory space in a care facility!
