This is a heavy duty lock. I actually use it to chain a barbeque down. I am glad it came with four keys as it seems like keys always tend to walk away. It feels strong when you hold it which is what I was hoping for in a lock. of course I am not going to test if it will nto cut, but it will at least take someone some time with bolt cutters or a few minutes with a cutting disc. Are there perfect locks out there? Nope, but this one does a good job. There are other alternatives for cheaper, but they also look smaller and less strong. Glad to have this item.

OKG Heavy Duty U Lock-18 mm. Featuring 11/16" (18mm) 3T hardened Manganese alloy steel U-Shackle and thickened seamless tube alloy steel lock body withstands 90 kn cutting force and 75 kn tensile strength (tested to Art 4-Class standards), offering 300% higher impact resistance than standard U-locks. The Dual-Deadbolt mechanism blocks pry tools, bolt cutters, and portable grinder attacks, making it ideal for high crime areas.Weighs 1.9lbs and measures W: 4.4 x T: 1.7 x H: 5.0". It included 4 reversible diamond cut keys. The OKG Heavy Duty U-Lock can be used independently or combined to form a heavy duty chain lock. It works with OKG or other brands of security chains or cables. Note: make sure the inside width of the chain is more than 18mm so the lock shackle can fit through. For fit, function, build quality, material quality, and price of $39.99, this lock is going to be hard to beat, and in my opinion makes it a good value. Highly recommended!

This lock is bigger and heavier than it appears to be in the photos here, and that's a good thing. Lock technology has come a long way in the past several years, and this new heavy-duty lock looks and feels up to the task. I got this lock specifically to use with a security chain and/or cable (a noose chain is generally best but also heavy) to protect my ebike. This style of lock can be used in a variety of ways, and I use it in conjunction with my Skunklock Carbon. If, like me, you have a bike that cost well over a thousand, you should be using two different kinds of security locks, especially if it's parked in a dodgy area.Having four keys is a nice bonus. I carry keys for my locks when I ride, but also keep a spare in my car or somewhere else handy. One of the best features of this lock is that both sides of the shackle lock firmly into position. This means that, even if someone manages to cut through one side, the other side remains locked in position and will also need to be cut through before gaining access to whatever is being protected. No lock or security measure is 100% secure, but a lock of this quality eases my mind when I leave my ebike somewhere.

This is a super heavy-duty U bold lock. I got it to keep my ebike secure and it seems to work well for that purpose. I can lock my brake hub alone for quick or somewhat secure stops (like while on the trail or while it's in my garage), and I have a heavy-duty cable to use with it at longer or less-secure stops (like while at my campsite). My adult son is a lock enthusiast - he fiddled with awhile and pronounced it relatively secure. He especially liked the key style and the double shackles ("dual dead-bolt" in the ad). I also like the dust cover for the key hole. I don't know how much of a problem an uncovered key hole would be in practice, but it seems to be a good thing to have it covered. Overall, great unit and I can't find anything negative to say about it.

This looks and feels quite similar to the Kryptonite brand lock I also have. In comparison, the shackle on this one is slightly bigger diameter, and the lock body is bigger too. The body feels significantly plasticy, while the Kryptonite feels like solid metal with a rubber cover. Under the hard plastic cladding of this one, it still seems to be solid metal, and it weighs a similar amount. The keys seem to be the same style, but I don't know enough about locks/lockpicking to tell if they are equally secure. This lock will be my medium-low security lock to go with my big steel cable, that I'll use to secure bikes in the back of my truck. I would not trust a bike on the street overnight with this lock, but then again I wouldn't trust a bike on the street overnight no matter what.

This is a disc-detainer lock, so hard to pick without specialized tools. It has some anti-drill features as well. The U-shackle is very strong and has a cut resistant coating. The locking mechanism itself is quite strong and doesn't rely on spring loaded ball bearings or similar.Obviously, an angle grinder will eventually tear through any lock, but as far as I can see, this lock will resist most other forms of attack. The size matches an existing lock that I use to chain up my e-bike when parking it publicly. The second lock let's me affix it more securely to make it even more difficult to break the locks without also breaking the bike itself. While it is heavy, it gives a definite vibe of security so I'm not paranoid about losing the e-bike.
