I bought this ornament for myself because I love to knit. It's very light weight. And it's well made. It arrived packed well and without any damage. The colors are bright and applied neatly. It even has a bit of sparkle! Im glad I bought it.

If you like glass ornaments with lots of careful detail, are into sewing or crafting, or vintage objects, this Old World Christmas glass ornament would be a very nice and thoughtful gift to give someone or purchase for yourself. I love the antique look and style of this sewing machine, as it reminded me of the one my great aunt was still using herself to mend and sew clothes back in the 1960's and early 1970's. It was one where you had to use your own power to work the machine, as it was not electric. Her machine must have dated back to 1900 or before, and I can remember sitting on the floor trying to pedal the machine with my hands while she sewed, as my legs were too short to reach the pedals if I sat on a chair.Many Old World Christmas glass ornaments tend to be quite heavy for their size. While this one is not really any different, it also is not as big as some of their ornaments, so I am not anticipating it being too difficult to find a sturdy enough branch to hang it on without causing the branch to sag - that is if you purchase an actual tree vs an artificial tree to hang it.It did come in an original Old World Christmas ornament box protected by both bubble wrap and tissue, and arrived in perfect shape.If I needed a second one, I would not think twice about purchasing this ornament again, as it is such a nice looking one for the right person.

Really pleased with this Old World Christmas artist pallet decoration 🎨 .... It makes a great gift for an artist ..... Lovely quality .... and it's something a bit different .... Only thing is I wish it could of been a bit bigger .... but still really pleased with it :) xxx

My dear friend who is a seamstress loooooved this. It's very pretty and well put together. Had to send the first one back because it arrived in pieces. They had sent it loosely wrapped in one layer of thin tiny bubble wrap. Who would ever do that?!?! (My reasons for 4 stars). Lucky for me I had ordered in time to receive a replacement, which also came poorly wrapped but better than last time and I simply got lucky this one didn't also break. It's pretty heavy for a blown glass ornament if that means anything to anyone. But a real beauty for anyone that likes unique ornaments or has a hobby for sewing/altering. She has floored that I had found such a gem. Love this brand.
