Drivers side mirror is good. Can't get passenger side to line up right. Poor product. Had to drill new holes and still isn't right.

The factory mirrors on my 1985 CJ7 are starting to show a little rust. I thought I'd replace them to spruce up the vehicle for a local car show. These replacements look okay and would work fine but my Jeep is a very low mile, all original vehicle and I want to keep it that way as much as possible and the metal used for the mounts of these mirrors is noticeably thinner than the factory mirrors. I ended up returning these and will probably just get my factory mirrors repainted or powder coated. Lots of people also complain about the passenger side mirror fitment not realizing it is to be adjusted so you see it THROUGH the windshield.

They’re really nice looking. Cheap bolts though, broke a head off with minor effort from simple ratchet wrench. I’ll be replacing the bolts with something better. These also rattle a lot but that’s to be expected if you want authentic looking cj mirrors

These do not come with any instructions or template for mounting them on your vehicle. You will have to drill and tap threads into the holes to mount these on your vehicle. Wasn't too difficult, thankfully I had the correct size drill bit and tap to mount them and experience threading holes.

The mirrors arrived in tact and I was able to attach them to my Jeep with little effort. Fit, finish and appearance are fine. However, almost weekly I have the need to re-adjust the angle of the mirrors. I have made sure of the tightness of the fitting and screws but normal road driving wind will eventually move the mirrors and or the brackets. I am looking for a way to alleviate this issue on my own instead of complaining and trying to return them.
