The connectors that are provided could not splice the standard taillight wires. I had to strip the wires to get these connectors to work. Otherwise works as intended

Surge brakes are good, but when you move on a trailer dolly moving a little up hill they are a pain. So My setup a Small 12v battery power the reverse pin and plug into this 5 pin,, good to go.

Its a universal harness. Does what is supposed to do.The maddening part is translating from OPT7 bar to BN/WT/Y/GN to tail light wiring. For my 2021 F150, that required a flow chart of 3-4 wire color transitions.I have used this in the past. It works as it should if your vehicle is wired without complications. Do your research on newer trucks with sensors, cameras, tow assist, blind spot assist. A dedicated harness may be preferred.

Customer Service was fantastic, always got back to me right away worked through our problem that the sequential portion of the tail light bar did not work on our 2016 F350 Ford super duty, they suggested I do a hardwire kit to eliminate that, the four wire hardwire kit works perfect. Light bar works fantastic now thank you so much.
